Majestic Breeze, Myrtle Beach

Ok, so this motel is not the prettiest place on the planet. But they are updating their rooms. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are spacious. It is an awesome value. We stayed there twice in June of last year and will stay there again this year.

It was a great place to stay. I have a family of 5 and we enjoyed every moment of it.  The money we paid was worth every penney of the trip. We will be going back!!

Fellows this motel is lousy and the reason is owned by Mr Scoorge himself A.K.A kenny nandwani one who has give his own property review on 08/04/2007, What a SHAME kenny , you ought to have some Respect for people who pay and get this kind of treatment, I furter will mention he has another lousy property called travel lodge.I write this message in full respect and public service so that people in future would avoid n not spoil there vacation!!Thank's for Reading Y'all.

a fixer upper to say the least.....the only thing clean were the sheets and we were suprised by that! Service bad, 3 floors - no elevator, no cart to help with the luggage...couldn't get pillows, 2 refridgerators in the room and 1 worked, 2 tv's in the room and 1 worked....walls were delapated, door to the adjoining room had been kicked in and the frame was broken, fortunately they did nail it shut! Looks like it's ready to be torn down...the pool is green and has a do not swin sign hanging!

The Majestic Breeze ceased to be an Econolodge in 1997. The Atlantic Paraise across the street is now called Econolodge. My glowing review was for the Econolodge formerly called Atlantic Paradise. I have never stayed at Majestic Breeze. We were very satisfied at the Econolodge at 1401 S. Ocean Blved and had a lovely ocean view suite very reasonably. There is going to be a lot of confusion until Google realizes that Majestic Breeze is no longer and Econolodge and also that Atlantic Paradise has been fixed up pretty nice now that it is Econolodge.

We came to the Econo Lodge in Myrtle Beach and were concerned by some of the reviews. I was so concerned, that I called the Myrtle Beach police department before I came down here, and they told me that they had no trouble with this location. Only 2 minor calls all summer. There is some confusion as to the name. It is now called Econo Lodge. Formerly Atlantic Paradise and possibly before that Majestic something or other. We have a beautiful room. A suite with ocean view and kitchen. Everything is painted nice and the tub and toilet look new and the couch looks new and so does the frig. I don't know anything about the smaller rooms or the elevator. The swimming pool is sparkling clean. These suites are really nice and all have an ocean view and balcony. I don't understand those other reviews at all. This place is a steal and our room is sparkling clean. Probably half of what you would pay other places.

me and my boyfriend booked a two night stay thru expedia for the majestic breeze and we decided to go a night earlier and book a room....it was disgusting i took a shower in my flip flops, the toilet looked like it belonged in a gas station, and i sprayed the bed down with lysol before even sitting on it...the light cover over the bathroom sink had fell and broke completely!!! i would not recommend the hotel to a dog and they over charged us...and please believe i cancelled my reservations and stayed at another hotel for 30 dollars cheaper and a hell of a lot nicer...

This was the most horrible motel I have EVER been in. The door deadbolt was broken, the curtain were ripped halfway off and hanging, the carpet was SHREDDED, the wallpaper was HANGING off of the walls, the toilet would hardly flush, the bathroom light fixture was ripped completely off of the wall, leaving no light in the bathroom, and the room was a NASTY, NASTY place. I tried to get a refund, because I checked out early and the manager NEVER returned any of my calls, leading me to contact the BBB.

Well i will say this. They were very clean and very friendly. No highspeed internet. No room service, this is what low budget looks like up close from the 60s. The hotel was built way back then... and even the hot tub needed an upgrade. Their best room that has a kitchen and hot tub... joining of course... was like a page out of next friday. But it was a place to rest our heads so we thought.... i just couldnt do it... everything displayed no vacancies... else where now what.... we ended up calling 1-800-hotels geting a cheap rate then cancelled the order went inside and got a better rate it was awesome!

This was the most horrible place that I have ever stayed in my life. Bugs everywhere!!!!!!!! The walls were mildewed and had a musky smell. The bathroom was stained so bad it looks like it was never clean. The manager said it was stained, me I would say it was dirty. The pool was yellow. I had only been there for maybe two hours and then the bugs came out. I am sorry but that did it. I asked for my money back and they said no. The manager said she would ask the owner the next day. Well that was a joke. I called back a second time and she took my name. Now I know she didn't put my name in for a refund. There were people complaining that night all over the hotel. Well, I did cancel my credit card and reported to bbb. Which they never responded too. I would never have done this but that is how bad this place is. Stay away.
