3 reviews for The Maria Atwood Inn, Franklin
The First Time May Indeed Be the Best!
By jimmy, 09/02/08
We were 1st timers to a B&B, normally opting for upscale inns or hotels, but having read many positive reviews, decided to 'take a chance'. We shouldn't have worried! The hosts, Sandi and Fred, were accommodating without being noisy. They provided us with clean towels in the afternnoon, after we'd showered that morning. Breakfast was beyond expectations as well, with homemade walnut maple scones and cheesy-scrambled eggs, with thick, crispy farm bacon. We got great advice on where to run (i.e., along the Winnepesaukee River Trail), had very clean accommdations, and a sound night's rest. What else could you ask for? Oh, yes, the furnishings were authentically antique, and Fred's antique gun collection (we're not NRA-er's) was even amusing. Enjoy!

An excellent b&b in New Hampshire
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/07
We have stayed at Maria Attwood inn for a week during foliage season. It was absolutely magnificent - the large and richly furnished room gave us a great feeling of home. Fred and Sandi are great hosts that will do everything they can to make your staying at their b&b an experience to remember. I hughky recommend staying at this b&b.

I loved this place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/05
The Atwood Inn was everything their web page described and more. Sandy was very accommodating of my 2 kids and myself. We stayed in a room with 2 twin beds, and 1 queen. The inn is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We'd just come from a hotel with scratchy bedspreads and soggy fruit for breakfast and received at the Atwood Inn freshly sliced fruit over yogurt for breakfast after we'd slept under lovely, soft quilts. I would recommend to anyone.
