4 reviews for Olallieberry Inn, Cambria
the food and the people are out of this world
By whocares, 07/15/06
There is nothing to dislike about this location We have been treated as if we where in our own home but with all the work taken out. The dinner on Thanksgiving is excellent and the breakfast mmmmm creme brulle french toast... mmmmm Go here you will not be disappointed.

Great stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/06
We loved the breakfasts, adorable town, wonderful garden and everyone who worked there. Breakfasts are a fun time to meet folks who have stayed in the area and find out what to do. Good promixity to a lot of things to do like Hearst Castle Only down side was that the beds weren't all that comfy.

This place is a great getaway from city life. Very quiet and homey. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. The food is fantastic. Plus, complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres served every evening!!

Perfect!!!
By Nicholas, 05/15/05
My wife had never stayed in a B&B before and I looked long and hard to make sure her first experience was a good one. The Olallieberry Inn couldn't have been better... We arrived just as they finished putting up the Christmas lights. It was a magical moment for me because I just knew my wife had fallen in love with bed and breakfasts. We checked in and grabbed some books out of our room and a glass of hot tea from the kitchen and escaped to the back yard to read and decompress from our trip up the coast. We came back in at dusk and joined the other couples at the inn for a wine tasting in the dining room and some casual conversation. The little town around the Olallieberry offers several restaurants for dinner and we enjoyed the house all lit up by Christmas lights as we walked back from dinner. The room had a small space heater that looked like a fireplace and warmed the room up nicely while my wife and I enjoyed a bath in the lion-footed tub. The room was amazingly clean and had a real charm to it. The Inn is amazing, but breakfast really sealed the deal. They have been voted best breakfast for a few years now and if you have ever eaten there you know why. AMAZING BREAKFAST!!! Great juices, variety, freshness, flavor... they make their own jams/preserves! It was just amazing. My wife and I were very sad to be missing the next mornings breakfast. The staff was great. Very professional, very laid back, and very helpful. They made reservations for us, recommended places to go and things of local interest that didn't make the guidebooks. If you only stay in one bed and breakfast in your life, or need to introduce someone to the wonders of bed and breakfasts this is your place.
