Unpleasant experience

We had a small dog which was OK but we were confronted by the Motel sales manager in the parking lot asking if we had approval for the dog to stay. This sales manager was very confrontational, aggressive and somewhat threatning. The part that bothered me most is he was playing wiffleball in the busy parking lot with his young kids and not respectful of traffic, parked cars and safety. But I guess that was OK since he was the sales manager.
I went to the front desk to make sure having the pet was OK and in comes the sales manager verbally attacking me again in front of the desk clerk and 2-new customers.
I sure hope that this type of employee conduct is not the norm for the motel.
