WOW! Two Thumbs Up!!!!
By Stephanie, 10/07/09
This place is hands down the nicest place in town. The hotel is clean, newly remodeled and has the friendliest staff who always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast they serve in the morning is wonderful, not too mention the lunch and dinner too. Chicanes is a great place to eat. I would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay and fine dining at great rates!

I'll skip it next time I'm in town
By Nicki, 02/05/09
No Internet access. Musty smelling room. Twin beds. The people in the restaurant seemed nice but the people at the front desk of the motel didn't seem to like people dressed in motorcycle riding leathers.

Beware of the restaurant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/08/08
I've never stayed here, but just wanted to say to be very cautious of the restaurant Chicanes that is on site. A few months ago it was shut down due to roach problems and had lots of violations. In fact, it had almost 20 violations and was most likely the restaurant with the most violations in Highlands county. On its last inspection, it only had 5-7 violations, but just be cautious before eating here.

No respect for repeat customers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/08
Sky high prices during Sebring events, ridiculous minimums also required, no cancellations allowed and a lack of respect for returning customers. Good luck with this one.

Great Little Golf Getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/07
Great getaway with the golf package. The rooms are beautiful, the bar and restaurant have great atmosphere and food. The golf package includes breakfast and the best course to play is Highlands Ridge North.

Things Have Sure Changed in Sebring!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/07
Inn on the Lakes is a great effort for an upper class hotel in a small town like Sebring ... however, I have to say: "Please invest in some new towels!!!" The ones we used were very small, thin and scratchy. A dead-giveaway when you're trying to be a first class hotel. Such a shame when everything else is so good. The garden and pool area is beautiful, service folks very friendly, and we loved the fact that it is a dog-friendly hotel. Our small dogs loved running along the lakeside in the early morning and visiting the resident cats who live near the back parking lot. Sebring has come along way from the old days when I used to ride the train from Jax to visit my gramma--I will definitely stay again for our next year's family reunion.

Pleasant Surprise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/07
What a find! My wife and I travel a lot and can be fussy. This hotel was quite a find, a very pleasant surprise for the area. Has a hint (a hint)of a 4 star hotel atmosphere in a 2 star area. We were pleased with the food, the service and the room. It is not a typical hotel/motel. Has it's own character and for the price a pleasant experience. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Great place!
We had a golf outing last week in Sebring and stayed at the Inn on the Lake. We loved our room, the service, food, and the arrangements the staff had made for golf. The staff all did a great job looking after our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back.
