I know you can't expect a whole lot for $79.00, but this place can do better than they did. First off, the molding above the bathroom door was missing. The drain of the bathtub definitely needed some draino, as it took forever to empty. The sink didn't have a stopper, and the light between the beds didn't work. Also, the internet only worked for two hours of our visit. The most annoying part of our experience was that it advertised a continental breakfast. The "continental breakfast" consisted of orange juice, coffee, and bagels. So, if you go, don't expect much in the way of accomodations or breakfast. I'll never stay there again.

General comments: Room was 'clean', at least in the relative sense. I realize that hotels do not have the staffing to scrub every room between guests, and if they did, the cost to do so would be astronomical. That said, hotels in general should at least once a year shampoo their carpets, and perform such maintenance as checking for loose electrical fixtures. Location is across the street from the beach, and about two miles from the historic district. Liked: The beds were comfortable - not the typical brick-hard beds of most hotels. Hotel staff courteous and professional, especially given that their key-making machine broke that day, requiring them to manually open every door for each guest Disliked: Room was generally clean, but there was a musty smell in the air.

GREAT SERVICE ! Never had to ask for anything. Under new Management and they are great. Very helpful with all our questions about attractions and transportation.
