Meadview Lake Motel

Location in Meadview is good, as it is about 1 block from the market, and is across the street from 1 of 2 restuarants that can be easily walked to, that also has a bar.
The rooms are of older accomodations, with some problems with toilet flow issues, hot water faucet issues in the showers, and bugs!
Under the furniture and behind there are many, many dead bugs, from crickets to scorpions. Obviously they spray for these critters, however do not clean under, or move the furniture to clean under. Each room has refridgerators, however the ones I have used, barely keep your food and drinks chilled, let alone cold and they are already turned up on max cold!
Management is nice, however not overly responsive to room situations like stopped up toilets, or remote controls that do not work on the TV's that are older than 20 years. Motel needs some upgrades in the TV area for all rooms except #9, but it is a single bed room.
This motel does have a barbecue area, and that is great because the restuarant is closed on Mondays, and the Pizza place is closed on Tuesdays, and the market closes at 7pm, so after that there is not much for dining choices in Meadview! Better keep a couple of steaks in your cooler on ice, and bring barbecue briquettes to cook with.
Beds are comfortable and clean-Check for scorpions as this is Arizona and you should anywhere you stay in the desert. No pool, spa, or internet. Just a gtood place to rack out if you are heading out to enjoy a weekend on the lake. Done it many times!
