Comfort Inn Florida City, Florida City

fun at first then when check out came we were told that out bill was not paid because the credit card we used was declined. why let people stay if the card was declined . the answer i got was they were being courteous. so we used the same card and they were correct it wasnt paid, keeping in mind that they now have the card number. since it was the only card we had at that time my husband then sign over a check that he recieve from the government to them, the dishonest thing is they are still tryin to take the money out of his bank account first it was for the full amount of out stay which the bank didnt let go through. now they are trying to extract small amounts. This particular hoter in florida city is not a very honest place. the stay was nice but it seems they want people to keep paying over and over again. thats credit card theft and me and my husband intend to prosectute to the fullest extent of the law! i wonder how many others has went through this situation at the hand of the comfort inn in florida city!

we liked the location and the staff was very friendly. I had two kids 10 and 12 years old and they like the pool. We stayed here twice once going toward the keys and once when we returned. Our first room was very clean and was on the second floor. Our second visit we were going to be on the first floor. The room was clean but had a musty odor. We asked to be relocated to the second floor and were very satisfied with the room. We went to the Everglades and the keys. This hotel is located on US 1 at the end of the Florida Turnpike. Nice location and affordable price. They have a nice complimentary breakfast that has a waffle maker/eggs etc. the normal breakfast.

We've been coming here for many years,but we really miss the front desk clerk,Bill. He was always so nice.We enjoyed the breakfast and everyone made us feel right at home We realoly like the fact that we're so close to the Keys and not have to travel so far.
