I stayed at this Inn recently (September 16-21, 2007) and although it is not the greatest or fanciest Inn around, I find it very suitable for my stay. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They were kind enough to help me reserve a shuttle bus to take me back to the airport couple of days ahead of my check-out date. The Inn is not too far from any public transportation, like the STM Metro or their buses, of course, you have to know where you are going to take advantage of their public transportation. I used their public transportation to my full advantage during my week of stay in Montreal. I was very happy to find a small kitchenette in my room so I could cook my meals after locating two of the supermarkets nearby. And I was able to use the free internet access with my laptop as well. Not the greatest, but not bad as well. The daily breakfast in the morning was great.

Nice but Very Noisy

We stayed here for 3 weeks and on the plus side the staff really knocked themselves out to be helpful. Downside was that the place was clad in scaffolding the day we arrived and they seem to have serious building works for at foreseeable future. We lost the room for most of a day with builders in the room. From 8.30am till 4.30, the building literally vibrated as guys with jack-hammers worked non-stop. Would have been nice if this had been mentioned when we booked :-( If you plan on staying here, I'd ask.

Great location on a quiet street

The hotel's one-bedroom suites were very comfortable and well equipped, although a little small based on American standards. Included breakfast was excellent. The hotel's parking garage is very expensive and very poorly designed. Ceiling clearance is ridiculously low at 5.5 ft. A small Japanese minivan won't clear the low hanging plumbing.

not the best experience

My husband and I just returned from 3 days in Montreal. While we loved the city, we did not love the hotel. While the rooms were clean, the furnishings were average, at best. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was not "spacious" as advertised. In order to get past the bed, one had to step sideways to negotiate the small space between the bottom of the bed and the bureau. The bathrom was tiny! The "kitchen" was an alcove and there is very little likelihood that one could cook anything more than toast in the small size! The parking was off site due to our having brought a small pickup truck. There was one staff at the front desk who continuosly gave us wrong directions, but after quickly learning to avoid him, the reat of the staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! We would not go back!
