Certainly Not Grand
I was recommended to stay here because this motel has suites so I could take my mother and not have to pay a fortune for an extra room. Well I understand that during the summer, a touristy beach town in Maine will be expensive, but at least you'd get what you pay for, not here. It was just like staying at The Holiday Inn Express (which is nice) but still kind of on the lower end. I am sure you pay for what you get off season. So we paid over $250 a night for a one bedroom with a tiny suite attached. Turning the couch into a bed would take up the entire small living area so my mother decided to just sleep on the couch. The continental breakfast was really bad, reconstituted orange juice which was watery, dunkin donuts quality pastries, etc. Also, for the price you'd think a complimentary newspaper would be left at our door, but no, you had to pay for it in the machine in the parking garage. There is also no lobby restroom! Once we checked out, we had to go but there was no place to go so my husband had to go behind some cars in the garage! Not worth the high price during the summer, stay somewhere else.

Clean and Beautiful

Gorges Grant Hotel is the best kept secret. We have been going there for the last several years and will thereafter. People are courteous and the rooms are the best with all the emenities you will need. It is centrally located and is accessible by foot to the village.

Great Place
By ,
The hotel is lovely and so clean. The staff was so helpful and ready with advice of places to see and shop. Will definitely go back. The grounds are so well manicured and just to sit and take it all in. Pools are great too. Wish they had a full restaurant instead of only breakfast. Price was right, too.

Great Place to Stay
By ,
We loved this hotel. It was very clean and the rooms were a very good size. Love that it was in walking distance to the town square and the beach. We actually ended up staying an extra night because we liked it so much. I cannot say enough great things about the staff. They were very friendly and very accomodating. We would definitely stay there again! Raspberri's was good for breakfast but a little expensive.

the property, and rooms were immaculate, and the staff could not have been friendlier. the refrigertor in the room (all rooms) was an especially nice touch. the on site restaurant only serves breakfast, but the food is good and fresh, and the service is great.

Best place to stay in Ogunquit
By ,
The newly renovated rooms at Gorges Grant are the best rooms in Ogunquit. I and my wife have stayed in several hotels/motels in the area including the AAA rated 4 star hotel and this is the best. We love breakfast in the hotel restaurant, Raspberri's and the prices are very reasonable. Clean, friendly and well run property. You can also get a very good lobster and steamers within walking distance at the Ogunquit Lobster Pound (excellent but expensive).

Great Place to Stay
By ,
Gorges Grant Hotel is very conveniently located within healthy walking distance of town and on the trolley line. It's easy to access one of the best beaches in the area. Friendly, efficient service, clean rooms and a lovely spot for breakfast in the morning. It's also within walking distance of some other great spots for breakfast. Only "down side" is the small outdoor swimming pool and potential for noise if you're staying in one of the rooms overlooking the highway. I definitely recommend it. We've stayed at the hotel several times and have been happy every stay. Enjoy!

The place to stay in Ogunquit
By ,
We have been to Maine 3 times in the last year. This hotel is hard to beat. The hotel is very clean. The staff can not do enough for you. The rooms are a nice size and the pool is also very clean. The grounds are well kept. This hotel is differently worth the trip.
