OK for small town

WE stay there 2 or 3 times per year. The upgraded rooms are nice. The extras are few but the price is good, the rooms are clean, and the owners are very good to us. I would recommend this place over any others in St Paul.

A nice place along the road

The Bel-Air is an old-line '50's type motel. Keep that in mind if you want to stay there: amenities are few other than Ice and laundry. However we always have a pleasant stay and it's our choice when we're in the area. The owners are nice, friendly folks and have added some "homey" touches to the rooms which are always clean and comfortable. We choose to stay ther instead of the more modern Super 8 up the road because of its comfort. Bring your swimsuit and head down to the Loup river for some good sandbar lounging, but be sure to leave your sandy shoes outside when you get back!
