Outhouse Motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/25/09
We found this hotel online. Showed 5 stars and photos were beautiful. Booked room to attend fair. Got there and lobby smelled like urnine. Checked-in, went to room and it was absolutely horrible. Went back downstairs and checked out! Found another Hotel, really nice on Arden Fair Way (Red Lion) rate was less, rooms were clean and nice, ammenities were faboulous, and staff was awesome. Shuttle service to the fair and back. Walking distance to local restaurants also Red Lion has restaurant and lounge very nice. Clarion will never get any business from us again! They did not even as much as apologize for our inconvience! DO NOT STAY THERE!

Worse place I ever stayed.
By DAVIDB, 10/24/08
Where do we start with this hotel? Room overlooked a trailer park. Balcony had a pigeon nesting near the air conditioner and there was pigeon poop all over the balcony. No pictures in room, air worked marginally. Worse problem; They had a large party at the hotel that night. Over a hunded people partying all night and banging on doors. I and many others were angry the next day. Asked for money back, card in room states 100% guarentee. Could not get it and had to call every day that week without being able to talk to manager. Finally went through BBB, very bad rating! No success, had to go through credit card to stop charge. DO NOT go here, you will be sorry.

I will never stay there again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/06
The floor needs to be shampooed. The room was real stuffy & when I went to open the window I found there was no screen. When I called the front desk to ask about the air conditioning I was told there was none & to open a window. I told them there was no screen & the person was rude & put me on hold. I hung up & no one called back or brought a screen. The room made me feel unsafe. The walls must be thin as you can hear conversations in the next room which makes it hard when you are trying to sleep late at night. The next morning when I checked out the person at the front desk did not even ask how my stay had been. In-fact he did not say anything. No thank you. No have a nice day. Nothing. I guess he already knew I would not have anything good to say about the place so why ask.

We would come back again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/06
We selected this hotel because it was close to where we needed to be to visit relatives. It had also advertised a pool and fitness center, both of which we intended to use. Upon arrival from the East Coast, we were tired and just wanted to go to bed. We discovered that two lights did not work and the safe was dismantled. We immediately called for help and that arrived in the person of Ashwin Patel, one of the Maintenance Personnel. He could not have been more helpful and stayed until everything was in working order. The next day we met Marie, the new Manager of the property. There were clearly some changes that needed to be made and she immediately set about making them. The employees could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We were there for 12 days. I would return to this hotel any time.
