2 reviews for North Coast Country Inn, Gualala
Very cozy, comfortable, spacious
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/05
North Coast Country Inn is set up as a place for couples, but they were very welcoming when we wanted to take our teenage son, and it worked very well for the three of us. They did not have a roll-away for a third person, but said if we wanted to bring a futon, they would provide bedding. The room was so spacious, that worked very well, and the additional charge for another person was very reasonable. No TV, no cell coverage, no phone. The room was complete with lots of books, games, and jigsaw puzzles, so we could settle in and just hang out. The room was huge, and very nicely kept. Breakfast was the best I've had at a B&B. We had dinner down the road in Anchor Bay, at the Redwood Grill - quite good.

If you want bring your dog....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/05
this is the place to go! a very charming, comfy, rustic getaway just north of Gualala and right across from one of the nicest stretch of beach in California. Very spacious main room with fireplace, kitchenette, dining table, writing table, four posted bed, and tons of quaint and interesting antiques and such. We also had a deck, which was great for the dog and for reading. The ownership is very cordial and accommodating. The breakfasts were very good, especially the crustless quiches. My only complaint was that the baked goods were not fresh, but hey you cannot have everything I suppose! The only real drawback was that our room faced the highway. Though there is not a lot of traffic, there is enough to remind you that you are not completely off the beaten path. All that said, I still would recommend it heartily!
