THEY WILL TAKE YOUR CREDIT CARD # BUT IT DOESN'T GUARANTEE YOUR RSVP. I WAS a repeat customer. 1 wk before my vacation, booked months in advance with a credit card # given, they called to say I had no room there. I asked them to help me find another hotel but they said it would be unlikely because some big festival was going on in Bennington & all other lodgings would be booked, but they would try. I didn't hear from them before leaving town, and as a result, I completely re-routed my trip & booked out of town. My credit card bill showed up w/charges for another B'ton hotel - Apparently they found me another place but didn't speak to me about it or get permission to use my credit card #. I disputed it & won; next month charges from the Catamount showed up on my bill! Apparently, the other hotel charged THEM for holding rooms at THEIR request, & the C'mount was trying to recoup their loss from me. I disputed it & had to change my credit card # because they were so willing to use it without my knowledge/permission.
