Knights Inn Baltimore South Jessup, Jessup

This had to be the worst travel experience I have ever had, located DIRECTLY across the street from a federal prison. This was basically a truck stop with a few parking spots for regular vehicles. The hotel was dirty and smelled horrible. I was very displeased as soon as we pulled up but thought that I would take a look at the rooms. After your walk through the convenience store "front desk", you make your way to the elevators- where a sign provides information on which room is for "massage". The elevators had been painted with primer I'm sure to cover up what ever stains lingered below. The hallway carpets were dirty and stained not to mention the rooms were just big enough to fit a bed and 13" tv. There were hair and stains on the carpet, rips in the sheets and a dirty bathroom. After deciding to leave and find another hotel we exited the building where a decked out hummer, with at least 6 TV's was parked at the truck parking lot - a little out of place at 2 in the morning unless maybe your were "dealing something" or picking up "your girls"

I have to say this hovel gave me a new all time low benchmark for travel rests. The room stank of old cigarettes and wet dog. Shower was filthy, something living in the drain. Woke up feeling dirty. I dont think they are worth a 1 star rating. Next time I'm in the area I'll sleep in my car or a cardboard box.

Great place. Right across from the big house so is very convenient to take the kids to visit their Father. Just ignore the blood stains on the carpet and staff members rifling through your clothes. All in all quite a value. I'll be back for at least the next thirty years.

Let's cut right to the chase, rude staff, dirty rooms, and the price wasn't even worth it. I ended up paying $68 for a room the size of a cardboard box, pillow cases that smelled like dirty feet (not to mention the hair on them), bathroom that had no circulation vents, tvs that were fuzzy, need I say more? I called to correct the pillows, took an hour and 1/2 to do so and when I asked about the TV, I got "this isn't a 5 star hotel". Yeah I know this now. Obviously when you walk in the lobby the b.o. stench that lingered kind of tipped me off. I would've rather stayed in my car than that mess of a place. I urge those planning on staying to think again! Horrible experience!
