Deluxe Inn, Chico

While I don't expect too much from a $60 room, I do expect a clean, comfortable accomodation. Here is what I found:
Unvacuumed carpet, stain-spattered mirror, no clock, continually running toilet, slow draining sink and tub, torn lampshades, large hole in blanket, no TV remote, broken chair, "stobe light" in neon bathroom fixture, broken bathroom door. I attempted to call the office to complain, but naturally the phone was dead too. Chico was sold out that weekend, otherwise we would have left immediately. The place was ghastly! I definitely do not recommend it!!
