Warning.
I highly disliked this specific Ramada location for many reasons. The first night when I was getting ready for bed, I noticed that BOTH comforters had stains on them. I was disgusted with that. The next turn off was BUGS. That’s right bugs. We stayed 2 days and BOTH days we had bugs in our room. We had a spider, wasp, mosquito, and a moth. I know that is only 3 insects, but granted, it is a hotel and my expectations were set and I expected this hotel rooms to be bug free. The next turn off was the sink drain was extremely slow almost to the point of overflowing. The drain literally took 5 minutes to drain. The third strike was the breakfast. I look forward to a nice, hot breakfast in the morning. Come to find out, I was presented with a stale breakfast. I was not impressed at all. The hotel offered various Danishes, cereals, gravy, waffles, juice and coffee. The biscuits were stale, the cereal was stale. The juice was great, and the waffles were ok, but not the best. I was not looking forward to this breakfast the days I stayed there. I forgot to mention that the seating area is the size of your average bathroom. For the amount of people who can stay there, the seating arrangement was a disaster. They had 'extra' seating in the pool area. That’s just what I want to do is sit in the pool area where it is all wet and eat my breakfast there. That’s enough of the negative. The things that stood out the most were the location (within miles of Ruby Falls and Rock City and other major attractions). The value was exceptional. Last but not least, the pool. The pool was one giant hot tub. It was nice. I looked forward to a late night swim after a long day of walking. I will not stay in this hotel and I would recommend you do the same.
