Frangipani Beach Resort, Anguilla

it was really great cos we liked the view, the service, the food of the great restaurant

We had heard about the Frangipani from friends. The hotel has been refurbished and looks awesome. Great location and beach. The owners and staff were great. Very accomodating and nothing was ever too much for them. Definitely headed back this year. We are taking some friends with us.

My wife & I and two kids (11 & 7) stayed here in August '07. Great accomodation, great beach, great location & very clean. The owner & staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Planning to return this summer and can't wait!

We found out about Frangipani from a friend. It all sounded too real to be true, but it is. From the booking or the room with the reservations manager-Taura she gave us visions of not only the room but of the entire property. She said our suite was on the beach just steps away from the ocean and when we arrived it was definately no lie. Upon arrival we were greated by the front desk agent Shannesha who offered us chilled towels seved on grape leaves. We then refreshed with these wounderfully chilled logoed frangipani towels and were then escorted to the pool deck to be offered a complimentary rum punch and to checkin. This was greater and better then I expected. After checking we were then given a brief tour of the property, hours of opperation etc and escorted to our room. This was an upgrade from what our friends explained. Our suite was on the first floor and from the entertainment Area we walked right out onto the powdery white sand only to be greated by the most beautiful clear blue waters. Anne is no longer at the property. It is now headed by a Management team. I have a honeymoon in heaven

Just had an extended stay at the Frangipani. The place is going thru a transition phase due to new ownership. Right now, the place is a mess (A/C issues, water issues, kitchens and baths in disrepair, etc.). The new owner has great plans to refurbish the whole place. I only worry how long it will take. For now, steer clear of this place. The new on-site manager (Ann) is a witch and has no desire to make customers happy. I know first hand as I spent time meeting with her. My recommendation is to wait until 2007 and check to see if the renovations are done and if Ann is still manager. I really hope the new owner turns things around. The Frangipani has the most amazing architecture and is situated on the most amazing beach!
