Pure enjoyment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/06
We stayed at the Gage one night on our way out to Big Bend. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The room was small but everyone was so hospitable that the room size did not matter. The restaurant was A+. I had the Gage Fried Steak and it was as large as my plate and I am not sure if I have ever tasted better. Everything was wonderful and the waitress was excellent. I just cannot say enough about it. I am looking forward to another stay in the future.

Love Big Bend area
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/06
There is a new executive chef, and the food is outstanding. We even skipped the Reata in Alpine, which we love, so we could eat twice at cafe Cenzio. Everything here is beautiful, relaxing, and well-thought-out. I love teh Gage.

loved the ambiance but didnt like the head man in the restuarant he seemed a little too full of himself for a west texas restuarant.
