Pay for a room that won't let you sleep

We were travelling down I 81 and needed a place to stay .Comfort Inn has always been good ....OOps not this time ...We should have known ,when the two ladies at the front desk couldn't agree whether the room they were giving us was already taken . they decided that it was not so we could have it... The first problem was the air conditioner would not turn on,,,Not a problem
called the front desk and they flicked a switch to turn it on. We found out later on that it also vibrated the whole wall every time it restarted. If only it ended there,,,
At about 11:45 PM there came a loud noise at the door,, Someone was trying to get in . I get up to find out what is going on and the people say that it's their room and they had stayed there last night.....I convinced them to go away and let us (family of FIVE )
sleep.
In the morning I relate the story to the young lady at the front desk and barely get an I'm sorry... THAT WAS GREAT SERVICE..NOT
NOT NOT ......
I also left my phone number to have the manager call me in the morning at home ,,,so far it has been TWO days and No call ..I guess they really don't care...
