Clarion Suites Resort and Convention Center, Pensacola Beach

I have many fond memories of coming to this place when I was little, we came every summer before Hurricane Ivan. It was a great place that was close to the water. One of the things I remember best about it is the few two-story suites that they had right by the water, we stayed in those two years. The location was really good, close enough to the Boardwalk and Flounders and all that good stuff, but still a little further down the beach. I really miss this place, I wish they would have rebuilt. I remember coming the year after Ivan and seeing mounds of sand in the middle of destroyed suites, it was a really sad scene. This place will always be in my memories and I wish it was still there for people today to enjoy PS I know the year is off, we came here from like 97 all the way up to 2004.

We came here year after year up until Ivan. I loved the suites right on the beach; the water was only a hundred yards away. Great service, with many great memories. If only this place had withstood Ivan, it was one of m favorite things about the beach. Now we live here, so our visits may have convinced us to move here permanently. Now in it's place is another soon to be highrise.

the location of this place is great! the cottage style of the rooms gives you a sense of privacy you can't get at a typical hotel.
