Comfort Inn Airport South, San Mateo

I don't like the elevator entry, too much tabacco smell. Other than that, i like the room and services. And my favorite channel was not able to see. GolTV, by the way.

I booked for this place online so I didn't know much about it, and that's why I made a mistake for booking at this place. The first thing that disappointed me is when I check-in at the lobby the clerk seems very indifferent and unfriendly while helping me to go through the check-in process. Afterward, I went to the room that I was assigned, and to my surprise the room was unlock, and the door was not tightly shut. The room was dark so I couldn't see clearly so I lightly push the door in, and there's a man sleeping on the bed, I got scared so I went immediately to the lobby and told the clerk. He seemed to be in disbelief and think that I was talking nonsense, I told him to go check for himself, but he said that he couldn't leave the lobby, so he assigned another room for me. I got into my new room, and found out that the pillows don't have pillowcases. Moreover, there are no soap, lotion, shampoo whatsoever. It seems like the people didn't finish cleaning the room, so all those things didn't get refilled. I called the front desk 5 times literally asking for the pillowcases, and no one came at all. First he said that they're not finish doing laundry, then he said that he called them didn't they bring the stuff already? I too tired to deal with that attitude so I just went to sleep. I checked out the next morning and swear to never return to that crazy place. I want to write this review to help others not to make the same mistake as I did, so they would have a better trip.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was rude, the room faced the freeway. This a four story hotel that has one ice machine. None of soda machines worked. The whole place smells like smoke.

This place needs new Management to begin with. Room service is bad, rooms are not clean. Manager is never on Duty to take care of the problem. Even General Manager is unavailabe to return our calls for a week now. It's just awful.
