Would never go back to this moldy, dirty place.
By AGV, 08/30/08
I checked in around 9:00 PM. When I got in the room I smelled something a bit odd. After unpacking and opening up the window I started looking for the source of the smell. I found a giant moldy peach under the bed. It was in a state of decomposition and covered with fuzzy mold. I also noticed all kinds of dirt, dust bunnies, and lint under there. Obviously the maid is not concerned with cleaning under the bed. I called the front desk and the lady came and got the peach. So then I tried to relax and check my e-mail. The wireless signal was so weak I could not connect. I had to take my laptop out on the front walkway to get a good enough signal to access the net. I stay at a lot of places and almost never have trouble getting signal. So to top it off I went into the bathroom and the celing was half covered in black mold. Mold is toxic and causes lots of problems in people. I had a sore throat and headache the next day. Did I mention I am a certified mold tech? I know how mold affects me and thats what it was. I was going to stay for several nights but after all that I left the next morning. I would not go back!

Great location!
By jack, 09/26/05
We stayed for 3 days in the luxury suite. This obviously cost a bit more than I usually pay for a hotel. The room was clean and room service was nice. But more than anything, I loved the location. My wife and I drove up the coast and spent a day in San Fran. Then the next day we drove down and spent a day in Santa Cruz. And Half moon bay was a fun little beach town itself. It was fun being able to spend our vacation in a small town while conveniently visiting nearby large cities during the day.
