A lucky find and very hard to beat
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/6/10
My wife and I found this great hotel after having a problem with a hotel booked weeks earlier and we were absolutely thrilled. Service is outstanding. I have never experienced this type of quality service prior to or since, and I have done a fair amount of traveling. The room was large, clean, and nicely furnished, with a huge window overlooking the surrounding area including the bay. Highly recommended to say the least. If we have the opportunity to go back to Yokohama, there would be no debate- Royal Park Hotel.

Expensive!!!!
By Franklin, 6/10/09
The Hotel staff is like a swiss watch, they will kick the door down to clean your room rather you are sleeping or not. Is like a high rise Motel 6, most peaple check in at 4pm and out by 8am. They do a lot of weeding parties. The attached mall is as expensive as it gets. There are no english language TV channels, CNN and BBC are dubbed over with Japanese. The view of Mt. Fuji is very periodic as there are always a lot of clouds and smog in the area. China town is close and a small amusment park is accross the boulavard, all and all if you don't go during Cherry Blossom time, don't go!

I want to move here
My stay there with friends was one fo the most amazing experiences i have ever had. The stunning beauty of the building, the interior and exterior completely took our breath away. Not to mention that wonderfully convienent mall attached next door....shopping anyone. The room views were stunning, the food , service and atmosphere were beyond compare. Every time i see a picture or someone says the name i tear up..remembering how wonderful it was there. As a matter of fact we are going back next june.

Highest Stay Ever
By Wonshik, 6/5/07
I never stayed at such height before. It was amazing. One time, I could "look down" the fire works staged on the shore. Fortunately, I could see mount Fuji from my room (4:30AM). The staffs in the lobby are extremely kind and willing to help you (I felt they somewhat blocked me to approach the counter.). I tried the breakfasts at 70th floor (american style, $30) and 69th floor (traditional japanese style, $27). I felt the price of the breakfasts were inflated. Unfortunately, my reservation through the conference I attended included the breakfasts. It would have been better if I could get lower room rate without the breakfasts. I liked the oven-fresh breads sold at "Vie de france" located on the 1st floor of the Landmark plaza better than the breakfasts. They still have "wired" internet connection. I would definitely stay there if I visit Yokohama again.

Outstanding stay.
By Dexter, 10/15/05
Start to finish, it was one of the most pleasureable experiences I've had with any hotel. The service was fantastic, the scenery was breath-taking, and the accomidations were heavenly. The hotel was very easy to get to from the Yokohama train station, and everything we needed was a phone call or an elevator ride away. I would definately recommend the Royal Park to a friend, and remind them not to forget their camara.
