okay but not worth the money

Everyone was friendly- but they recently changed hotel management- the management , Not very through on cleaning of the hotel. Going thru a renovation, what I was told- did not happen. No breakfast - or vvery little of it. Family of the management camped out in the hotel we stayed -was pretty scary walking in and see all of themy running around .

Not the Greatest Hotel for sure

The first room we got smelled smoky and had mold on the curtains, but the hotel staff let us switch to a much better room. They also have a nice pool and a good breakfast with cereal, donuts, and waffles.

Not a fan,..

This place seemed like it was beat up and on the verge of eviction. I felt like I was in tenement housing in the hallways. The room was clean, but the smell of smoke permeated the place...and they made me sign a waiver that I wouldn't smoke. They could spruce up the hallways and make them more welcoming. I kind of thought I was at a homeless shelter.

the fromt desk was poor skills. the room had a sense of smoke in the room. i wouldn't stay here again.

A great place to stay!

The Heartland Inn is conveniently located near the Des Moines Airport. The hotel staff were friendly both at check-in and check-out. They gave us a lower rate than the rate we had booked on line. Our room was nice-sized for four people and had a refrigerator, microwave, and a recliner. The hotel has both a swimming pool and a work-out room which we did not use. The continental breakfast had a nice selection of breads and rolls, Belgian waffles, cereals, fresh fruits, juice, and coffee. The staff mentioned that soup was available late in the afternoon, but we were not there at that time. We all enjoyed our two night stay there.

EXCELLENT...Will go back again!!!

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent place to stay...Very nice pool area. Well staffed, and excellent service. Very easy to find, and lots of places around close to eat, or nitelife. Airport just down the road.

This hotel has a wonderful location and treats their guests like no other hotel I've stayed at. The service & amenities were GREAT!! Will definitely stay here again!

Nice, Clean family hotel

We stayed one night and wanted a nice place for the kids to swim. They had a great time. The next day we had a nice breakfast at the hotel. Nice place for the money!

Great Services

Liked the free in-room wireless internet, made my business travel more productive. Free breakfast was excellent, more than just your normal coffee jucie and donuts.
