Motel dressed as a resort!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Brette A, 07/27/08
By the advertising, we expected something similar to Embassy Suites but The Peacock Suites was nothing more than a dressed up motel. The suites were too small for a family of four, the walls are paper thin, the continental breakfast was not worth our time, and the sofa bed was unacceptable even for our small children. The good news was the beds were comfortable, the staff were apologetic and accommodating, there was a bus stop to Disneyland outside, and a nearby open air mall just opened with a number of restaurants. McCormick & Schmick's had a great happy hour from 3-6 that included $1.99 restaurant style hamburgers, etc.

you don't get what you are expecting!
By V, 06/30/08
When I'm told that I'm getting a room with 2 beds. I expect 2 beds. Not one bed and a sofa bed. When I complain I'm just told that the room has 2 beds and I can't change rooms. Take my advice and stay away from this hotel. YOu don't get what you pay for. They also try to get you to sit through a time share program!

Best hotel I have stayed at!
By Katie, 02/07/08
The room service was great, very clean rooms, I love the pool and hot tub, but I think that they should stay open a little later. They make you get out at 10:00. The breakfast is good. location perfect, The people at the front desk re really nice.

Peacock Suites
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/05/08
The Peacock Suites was a great place to stay for a night. There were 4 Adults and 1 Child in our party, we got the "2 Bedroom Suite". The room had 2 Queen Beds in the bedroom. In the living room area, there was a bed that folded out of the wall and the sofa turned into a bed. If you are counting on using the sofabed for someone to sleep on come up with another plan. You're better off sleeping on the floor. That's the biggest complaint about this hotel. It is SO uncomfortable. Worst bed I've ever felt... Having 2 TV's / DVD players was a great thing! Plenty of towels, great having a refrigerator, microwave, etc... It's very close to Disneyland but because the hotel charges you $8 a day per vehicle (they take your car and park it when you first come) it was cheaper for to take our cars (2 cars) to Disneyland and pay $11/car there instead of paying $8/car at the hotel plus $3/person each way on the shuttle to and from the hotel to Disneyland. We only spent $22 that day instead of $46 on parking. We ended up going to Denny's down the street for breakfast - the free breakfast the hotel provided was WAY crowded and there wasn't anything to choose from... Everyone was really nice and helpful at the hotel. We called for blankets and help with our bags and they came right up....I would stay here again if it was just for a night or two. Maybe something else if I was staying a whole week.

Overpriced - awful breakfast and rip-off parking
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/07
The rooms are extremely small. I have never seen such a small hotel bathroom. The breakfast is hardly edible -- in fact, my kids refused to eat any of their generic cereal or packaged (worse than costco) pastries. We stayed up the street at the Hilton for half the price and had a much better free breakfast. We will NEVER stay at this place again. I don't understand how they get away with their "VALET" policy, which is just an easy way to make some extra money from parking. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP!

Unexpected costs!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/06
This is the first hotel I have ever stayed at that hands you a parking pass when you check in sayint it is a guest parking pass. But on the day we checked out and paid our bill we were packing our vehicle and the velet guy came up to us and told us are you leaving today. We said yes he said well you owe us for parking. We told him we did not use velet and we showed him are parking pass from the fron desk and that we had already setteled our tab. He said no it doesnt work that way we charge here for parking. And if you have not seen the way this hotel is set up you can not just leave the property it has a one lane drive way. So we had an unexpected cost of 8 dollars a day of parking. The rooms were okay not as big as they are in the picture. Oh and when they say kitchenette they mean a half size refer and a half size microwave. I will never stay there again. I will also tell anyone that will liten about the hotel. I thought I was a guest and when I payed for my stay that did not mean extra for parking.

We would definately go back!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/06
We had a great time at the Peacock Suites. We reserved the two bedroom suite, which was perfect and very spacious. The rooms were very clean and the amenities were great. We had a great time in Disneyland too!!! The weather was great, a little to hot. We will definately try to stay there again.

NO PARKING ! ! ! !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/06
It's a nightmare. It has 139 rooms but PARKING is only available for 39 vehicles or less. They have 2 levels parking garage but you know they are always booked, so that means there will be 139 vehicles coming in. The lower level (HAS 39 SPACES OR LESS)is available as a first come first serve basis. The 2nd level is.. "DO NOT ENTER, VALET PARKING ONLY" and the spaces in the front and sides of the hotel which is about less than 20 spaces are all BLOCKED WITH ORANGE CONES because it is reserved for VALET PARKING ONLY....AND YOU DON'T JUST TIP THEM FOR VALET PARKING, YOU HAVE TO PAY $8 PER DAY FOR VALET PARKING. What a rip off!! You will run a hotel suite and will not provide any parking for your customers? AND YOU WILL RATE THIS HOTEL AS A 3 STAR HOTEL? WHAT THE HECK? MOTEL 6 IS WAY BETTER THAT PEACOCK SUITES, PEOPLE. The swimming pool is TOOOOOO SMALL for 139 rooms. You have to pay for internet. The rooms are not all the same, some are old, some are new. Scene? it's overlooking the freeway!
