Hotel Corona de Granada, Granada

I have stayed in this hotel twice; once in summer and also last Christmas. I am returning there in two weeks time. The hotel is in a good location, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rates are good. The wine selection in the diningroom is quite ok but the food is not great. It is a buffet and the food is only warm as distinct from hot. My advice is to eat out all the time. Other than that, the place is worth staying in. It is usually covered with English people so if you don't fancy that it is bets to go elsewhere as all you will hear is the blighters moaning about the lack of English pubs. Here's a though chaps - stay at home if that's what you want.

The Corona is an average to good hotel for a few nights stop and a good centre from which to explore Seville. Buffet breakfast fine. Didn't dine there, no need, some excellent restaurants nearby, try El Figon de Triana. Bar and lounge area compact but rooms comfortable, apart from hard continental pillows, but that's the same in most hotels, I take my own. Nice roof top terrace and pool, with views across city and, good for sunning or relaxing in shade at a table. Internal rooms nice and quiet. Can recommend generally.
