Clean and affordable sums it up. The hotel has been remodeled and is super clean. Can't ask for more, great place to stay. Don't judge it from the outside appearance.

Staff was accomendating and friendly.House keeping gave great service.Rooms were nice.Beds comfortable.I would recommend and stay again

The motel was clean, but they didn't tell us, at check-in, that the hot water was out. We never got to take a shower. They also charged full price for the room.

I am not sure what others are talking about! Our stay the week before rally was wonderful. No problem with anything! It does say express breakfast, toast, juice and coffee. What more could you need! The rooms were nice and clean and up to date! I will consider staying here again!

1. Name of motel is PALACE EXPRESS. 2.Skimpy on towels, pillows. Soap. Bare necessities only. 3. Continental breakfast is TOAST. Period. Coffee is available 24/7 though. 4. Hot water to second floor took over 6 minutes (seriously) to arrive to shower. This is in the summer!! 5. Back door has sign that it is locked after 10 pm. It was not only never locked, it was ajar all 4 days of my stay. Normal rate was $45. That's reasonable for this place. However, it jumped to $95 on the two nights there were events in Deadwood.

I cannot believe what others are saying, I have been lodging at the WhiteHouse since the 1990s. The place has always been clean, peaceful,and cheaply priced to get a room. I was recently in town, and stayed at my favorite place the WhiteHouse Inn! Every time I arrive the place is always being changed for the better, certain rooms have been remodeled and have nicer amenities and better view than others. To behonest I am always on a tight budget and usualy stay one week so I end up lodging in one of the standard canal side rooms which are the cheapest they have to offer. I WANT TO STATE THE ROOMS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY CLEAN, THE FRONT DESK IS ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL IN EVERYWAY. NOT TO MENTION THE ROOM HAPPENS TO BE VERY NICE DUE TO THE FACT IT COMES WITH A KITCHENETTE,2 FULL BEDS, LARGE WALK OUT PATIO FACING CANAL,I SIT OUT ON MY PATIO AT NIGHT TO WATCH THE DOLPHINS SWIM ALONG THE CANAL,WHILE I TAKE IN GUST OF FRESH AIR. I CAN EVEN PARK MY CAR DIRECTLY INFRONT OF MY ROOM! NOT TO MENTION THE PLACE IS VERY SAFE DUE TO THE NICE LOCATION. WHERE CAN YOU GET A ROOM, OR FIND A PLACE LIKE THIS FOR UNDER $100 A NIGHT! YOU CANT! THAT IS WHY I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE WHITEHOUSE INN TO EVERY ONE! THE PLACE IS THE BEST! IF YOU STAY AT THE WHITEHOUSE INN, YOU WILL SEE THAT WHO EVER IS LEAVING NEGATIVE REMARKS IS JUST DOING IT TO BE SPITEFUL, AND YOU WILL AGREE WITH ME.
