Pisana Hotel, Rome

I woke up at 4am when something thumped on my pillow and ran. Creepy crawler. The location was good, a bus ride from the Vatican. But the food could be so much better. There was an entire day that they had no food in the hotel, other than the free meals they offered. Had the same bland sauce every night with different pasta. Good thing there was a bar right next door with better food. The aircon for most of the tour's rooms werent working. Had to open windows. There was wifi but it was very intermittent for 6euros per hour. I could recieve email but was not allowed to send out. Staff were very friendly, though. Rooms always cleaned. Hope this helps.

Staff were unfriendly, rude and arrogant. The restaurant was appalling and a rip off. The rooms were tired, sad looking, the walls are grubby and the carpets scruffy. The photos of this hotel flatter to deceive, its a poor 2 star at best in my opinion. The a/c in the first room they tried to put us into sounded like a lawn mower and the bathroom was smelly. A sort of stale sewagey pong wafted out when I first turned the nobs of the bath on. The one redeeming factor was the breakfast, which was good, but I'd never stay at this place again. Not good, this is not a good hotel at all
