Lake Country Inn, Oconomowoc

Not quite sure who or what slept in the bed, moldy smell along with the odor of a full ashtray. Nothing fancy overpriced for what this place is.

Room smelled like mildew and dust. No internet access, shampoo, available toiletries, etc. Wife could not call me in room beacause the front desk clerk was never around.

We were up from Florida and found the Lake Country Inn to be Clean, Nice and Friendly, Quiet and Reasonably Priced. We would recommed to our friends.

VERY DIRTY. MOLDY SHOWER CURTAIN. CARPETING DIRTY. HORRIBLE SMOKING ODOR. NO MAID SERVICE ON SUNDAY'S. BEGGED FOR TOWELS. IT IS ON THE MARKET, SO DON'T STAY THERE.

I travel often and came to the Lake Country Inn as a last minute visitor to the area. I have stayed in hotels around the world, and this hotel is definitely not one of the top places I have been to. That being said, the price was perfect, especially since I was a last minute visitor to the area. Also, what the hotel did not provide (room service, etc) it made up for with hospitality. I found the staff to be professional, yet friendly, making me feel at home. I had some problems with finding my way around to meet clients, so the receptionist at the hotel helped me out immensely by giving me accurate directions to enable me to travel the roads around Lake Oconomowoc. My room was spacious, with an air-conditioner that provided respite from an unusually warm fall weekend. The hallway did smell of smoke, though, which is inconvenient for a non-smoker. The refrigerator kept my snacks cool, and the television provided just enough of a distraction from my work to allow me to relax a bit. If you are looking for the St. Regis, this is not the place. If you need an economical place to stay in Wisconsin, then this is it.

The Inn serves as a delightful (and affordable) place to stay for anyone desiring clean accomodations with efficient service. We stayed for 3 nights, and felt welcome at each any every request made from our party. Light breakfast was provided in the lobby, as well as a veranda on the front for any minor social gatherings to take in the Oconomowoc scenery. Area is adjacent to scenic lake for those who enjoy the outdoors. Pleasure to stay here!

I was in town for the weekend and was happy to have stayed here. The location was right near the water and the staff was attentive and friendly. Next time I am in town, I will certainly make a trip back to the Lake Country Inn.

We enjoyed the staff and cozy accomidations Lake Country Inn had to offer. It's close proximity to town made for short rides, the fall is a beautiful time to visit!

As mentioned by others, the location of this hotel couldn't have been better. It was in close proximity to an assortment of places including downtown restaurants, bars, gas stations, etc. The staff was extremely courteous and the prices were reasonable.

I would highly recommend the Lake Country Inn to every one. The service, location, cleanliness, and value are all excellent. The overall experience was excellent.
