We go back year after year!
By MARLA, 2/10/10
We love the Francis Malbone House. The staff is wonderful. The 'afternoon tea' is fantastic. If you can't afford the summer rates..go in the winter. It is beautifuly decorated. The glowing fireplaces in the sitting rooms and dining room add even more charm. The location is ideal. The parking is easy. What else could you want? It's a great escape!!!

Overpriced!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/21/08
We thought it was overpriced for what you got a small room and small jacuzzi for over 300 a night. Please stay elsewhere newport is overpriced anyways so its hard to find something reasonable.

Loved it!
Its a tremendous place to stay in Newport...there is truly nothing negative that I can say about it...except the cost. We just felt like it was over priced, but would visit again because of the staff, the rooms and the experience.

All the comforts of home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/10/06
The Francis Malbone House is a home away from home. At least thats how I felt when I stayed there this past winter. The staff are all very friendly especially Darryl. The food was good and the afternoon tea an event in itself!!!
