Travelers becareful

When I booked this reservation I was guaranteed & I paid for in advance for a King size bed for 3 nights. When I arrived, I was given a Queen size room. Another thing, once I called the management on this they were not apologetic for the error. They put me in a King size room but once I put all my belongings inside front desk called me to tell me I'd have to leave the room on my 2nd day because the bed matteresses for this size of beds were going to be changed (interestingly enough) Since the hotel was "sold out" I had to change rooms to a Queen size for my entire stay to avoid being moved in the middle of my stay. Finally, on Sunday morning I received my bill stating I was set to check out that day when I had another night to go. I pointed this out to the front desk. The clerk argued w/me a bit about me not having the full details of my reservation. Finally I decided, since I had been checked out by this hotel to go ahead and check out on my 2nd day and just avoid more confusion with this hotel. The names of the buildings of this hotel have are of wine varietals but if your trip is (like mine) to do wine tasting and you happen to buy a bottle and do not have an opener, don't expect for the front desk to help. They don't have any wine bottle openers. The breakfast is the only nice part of my experience. The rooms are OK. The remote control to the TV did not work well with the TV. HBO's volume was too low even at the highest setting with the remote control. I hope I helped someone make an informed decision when considering staying at the Holiday Inn Express, Grover Beach, CA.
