Wichita Inn Airport, Wichita

Nice facility and nice price but the housekeepers ignored the "Do Not Disturb" sign I left on the door and entered the room anyway. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk they acted like they could not care less that this happened, saying that it was their policy to clean the rooms every day. Well, they did not do that very well either--trash was left on the floor and the bed was not made. I'm glad I did not leave any valuables in the room while I was out and will not stay here again.

The Wichita Inn is conveniently located. Close to restaurants. Reasonably priced. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Senior discount. Big ice machines on each floor. Workout area. Continental breakfast. Pleasant staff. Big screen TV. DVD player. Wired internet. I love that. It is much faster than Wi-Fi. I travel to Wichita every two weeks. I stay there every time. Would recommend it to all business and leisure travelers.

My husband booked me a room for a Thurs night & and Mon night for me and my sister. I was traveling to another town so I would only need the room for coming in flight and then leaving. He secured the room with his credit card. He then had to fax a photo of his CC for them to charge the room to it. I was only going to pay for the one night and then pay for the 2nd when I returned. However, the clerk charged me for both nights. I asked for them to change that and they did after a bit of a hassle. So when we returned, my sister was going to pay. However, they would not use my husband's CC to secure the room on Mon even though it was done previously. I want to know what's the point of using a CC to secure/save a room & then they won't even use it to make the charge. The front desk clerks couldn't even give an answer other than 'that's just the way it is.'

I stay on buisness and the hotel staff is allways friendly. The hotel is allways clean. Breakfast is never good. Well worth the price. Great acces to the highway.

This was our first time staying here and it won't be our last. The rooms are clean and comfortable. No frills, but more than what you would expect for the money. Very quiet, which is always nice. We asked for and got a later check-out time without getting the run a round from the front desk staff. From now on we will stay here everytime we are in Wichita.

This hotel is new and very well located just off kellogg (hwy 54). very clean and very reasonably priced. We stay here every time we go to wichita, which is at least once a month.

Stayed at this hotel in September 2006. In the early morning my wife and I discovered that our toilet in the room was trying to overflow. We were not able to use it at all. This meant we had to put on our clothes and go to the toilet by the lobby to use the restroom. We made a couple of trips down there. We decided to report it in the morning as it was 3am when this happened. When we checked out we told the clerk. Another lady there informed us that this happens 2 to 3 times daily and they know all about this. She also said that it wasn't her fault but the City of Wichita's as they had water restrictions. No hint of an apology or compensation was given. I admit I didn't ask but I shouldn't of had to at all. When we got home we wrote a letter to the person we were told was in charge of that motel concerning this problem. We didn't even rate the courtesy of a reply from him. I would not advise staying here unless you are ready for problems that go unresolved.

pleasantly surprised when this relatively plain from the outside, inexpensive, and no frills hotel turned out to be clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Consider it to be one of the best values I have found. Until there is a reason not to it is my place to stay when overnight in Wichita

I've stayed at this hotel twice in the last six months, it is wonderful, clean, has everything you need. The staff is very helpful and always going that extra mile.
