Hilton Hua Hin Resort and Spa, Hua Hin

Hua Hin is a special place in Thailand and this is capped off with a stay in the Hilton we have stayed there 6 times now and it seems to improve with each visit if that is possible. My children are well catered for and they love the place. we are back in July for 2 weeks and we make it a meeting place for past friends each year. The staff are fantastic and I cannot fault the place except for having to request a number of times for an ajoining room. The breakfast buffet is 2nd to none and the ajoining steak restaurant is excellent.

There is nothing wrong with the service or comfort and some seemed to like being in the center of town. But we should have appreciated it was a very tall building and we normaly prefer more low rise tropical style. The beach is rocky and we had to walk down to the Sofitel for some decent beach area.

If you plan to stay in Hua Hin, then definitely stay at the Hilton. The staff are friendly and the service excellent. Try and get a room that doesn't overlook the pool, but faces out to the sea. Not that the rooms overlooking the pool are poor, but you can see the rest of the town as well as the sea. The breakfast is superb, and has all sorts international cuisines to choose from including Thai, and the fresh fruits and fruit juices are so nice. The pool is nice, and has a bar in the middle. You can also come out of the pool and step onto the beach. The pictures of the hotel are exactly how you'll find it, and is ideal for families, singles, and especially couples who want to relax and unwind. It's on the doorstep of plenty of restaurants, one of my favourites being Orchids. And don't forget to try one of restaurants off the piers, serving fresh fish. Also next door to the hotel there is bar called Hua-Hin Brewing Company (or something like that) which offers entertainment on most nights, and plenty of locals go there, so it’s not just for tourists. At night visit the many bars and also the night market about 10 mins walk from the hotel. You may be offered massages from plenty of places throughout Thailand. If you visit Hua-Hin and are staying at the Hilton, be sure to use The Elephant massage parlour, opposite the hotel. It's clean, friendly and very professional, and offers foot and body massages after your walks of the town. Enjoy your stay in Hua-Hin. There are plenty of hotels to choose from, I know I'll be going back to the Hilton.

In Low-Season a very good deal! In High Season too expensive. Best location in Hua Hin, close to restaurants and shops. Nice beach, great rooms with wooden floors and seaview

The only thing I disliked were the beds. They were so hard. I loved everything every thing else. People are so nice & I also appreciate the absence of crime, as I, my sister & friend could go out at night without being afraid. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and it is so central to everything. Unfortunately I am a widow, but I would certainly recommend this hotel for single friends, as it is safe & friendly for everyone.

It has the coldest swimming pool ever. So cold hardly anyone could enter it!!! Great hotel though and great location. Food was great, but the eating places close by are not to be missed.

we first visited hua hin four years ago, staying at the marriot which is an excellent low rise hotel. this year we stayed at the hilton and had a fabulous time, the high rise hotel facilitating superb views of the gulf and the mountains. the hilton was ideal for our family in that we only had one teenage daughter with us this time and due to the organised pool activities such as volleyball and water polo where adults and children alike mixed in she made lots of friends. the mezzanine floor with its sports activities (pool and snooker tables, table tennis, squosh courts, gym and outdoor tennis courts) became an ideal meeting place. the hotel is right in the centre so a teenager can be independent and it feels a very safe resort.

I loved this hotel: the decoration was awesome, the rooms were spacious and always clean, the "animators" were very nice, the staff was always very sociable and helpful. Lots of things to do, one week won't be enough between the swimming pool, the sea, sun, beach, snooker, tennis, fitness centre, visiting the markets around the hotel.
