The Tiger Regency Inn, Tigard

we stayed there for one night, because we were flying all day. the room and the bedding smelled so bad, i couldn't hardly sleep! for the rest of the week, we payed more and checked to rooms out before we payed for them!!

I'm glad I didn't see the previous reviews prior to staying here, or I probaly would not have stayed! I discovered this inexpensive hotel tucked away on Hwy 99 and decided to give it a chance! I'm glad I did. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean, and the price was right. It felt very private, and there are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance! Really a great value for the money.

This place is by far the WORST place I've ever stayed! We came to Portland to be near Mom while in the Hospital. It was late eve, we were very tired from being @ Hospital all day, saw the Hotel, looked ok from outside so we took our chances. Room smelled terrible & very dirty! Thank goodness I had brought a blanket & pillow with me, so I laid the blanket on top of the bed & slept on that so I didn't have to touch ANY of the bedding. the mattress was so broken down that I felt like I was laying on the box spring. Sunflower seed shells on the floor, bathroom window sill was covered in hair, dirt and ashes. there was a brown smear along the bathtub ( saw that the next morning & thought I was gonna throw-up) , a bunch of hair & whiskers came up from the sinks drain ( once the sink finally did drain) I could go on & on folks, it's just plain NASTY!! And as other reviews said, every soap, shampoo, conditioner, matchbook, etc were all from other hotels..While we were in the office checking in, the middle-eastern guy took a call of a man that wanted to make a reservation ( poor guy) but he actually had this man on the speaker phone the entire time that he gave the hotel owner his name, credit card #, exp.date of the card, his home address, etc..while we stood there & could hear every bit of this guys personal info.. If we were dishonest people, we could of written down all of this mans credit card info that he had been asked to give...This place is a Nightmare and clearly can NOT be trusted with your personal information! So, if your looking for a place to stay & see this place, just keep on driving by!!
