Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa, Victoria

Well, to start off our room had a nice view. The service was fantastic. The spa was wonderful. The restraunt food was yummy with a creative menu. The pool was nice and clean and was nice because it was clean. And I enjoyed looking at everything. It was very lively place with nice well EVERYTHING! I Am DEFININTLY COMING BACK.

Great location. Unfortunately, that's only part of the experience. One bar staff memmber (& it only takes one to put you off) was both bossy and condescending to the point of rudeness, twice in a 3 night stay. Also, As we left the room after our final night, I pulled back sheets, top and bottom, only to discover a massive, ugly stain on the mattress cover. Please room service, don't put clean sheets on a filthy mattress or mattress cover. We don't want to think we're sleeping on someone elses dirt. I do feel squeamish about returning and will probably go elsewere now. which is usually twice a yr. Pat

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we asked for (and paid for) a room with a view of the harbour and we got a room with a view of an apartment building. Wehn we complained we were told they were booked solid and couldn't give us the view we wanted.

We have stayed at the Ocean Pointe 3 times for 4-7 days on each visit. Every time keeps getting better and better. Will be back again.

friendly and efficiant personnel. the spa was great and the view breath taking. walking distance to the museum, and all events in the inner harbor area.

Have been there 3 times. Good location, friendly service & beautiful rooms. The staff makes you feel like your dog is special. Would highly recommend the Delta!

My husband and I after 7 years now of taking care of our 3 kids, all under the age of 8 really wanted to treat ourselves to something nice. I've travelled around the world in my younger years and I know when something is special and out of the ordinary. The Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa in Victoria is one of these places. We had a beautiful view of the harbour, . WE watched float planes coming in and out of the harbor early in the morning while enjoying a cup of fresh coffee. It was lovely. On top of the view, we felt the employees there were very down to earth and friendly. I highly commend the individual that is hiring these individuals. (S)he certainly knows what they are doing... very friendly and proffessional. As well, although we tried out many different restaurants during our stay in Victoria because they were highly recommended none of them compared to the lunch we had at the Delta. Not only was it a work of art but the Seafood there was delicious - fresh and so tasty. My husband ordered the halibut, I ordered the salmon and neither of us could figure out who ordered the best dish. Location : you are a five minute walk over the bridge to the hub of the town. Walking around the harbour is a perfect 20 mins walk and if you're tired just call the shuttle to pick you up - anytime. My only advice or disappointment would be that the spa was completely booked for the three days we were there so it was a bit disappointing. Obviously not hiring enough staff. As well, there should be at least 2 bellboys on during the day and night. The bell boy was the one driving the shuttle as well as greeting guests and bringing their luggage up to the rooms and he was way too stretched. He did it all with a smile but it really did not seem fair for him or the guests. Besides those two recommendations it is a wonderful stay and we will be making it our yearly get-a-way now. WE would HIGHLY recommend the Delta. You can do as little as you want or as much - its your choice. Kari Guloien

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel for 3 days. Not only did they bend over backwards for their guests, but each staff was so personable and service oriented that I thought I was staying with family. Next time in Victoria, I look forward to my stay at the Delta.

I went with my parents while they were at a conferance and had such a great time! The staff was so friendly and the gave me ideas of things to do while i was in Victoria. The location is perfect, you can easily walk to downtown or someone will drive you in the shuttle bus if you prefer. The service was excellent and the room was amazing. We had an awesome view of the harbour and downtown. Exceptional!!

This was a great place to stay, everyone was very polite and helpful. Quiet, excellent facilities. We would return in a minute.
