My wife and I needed to visit Victoria unexpectedly when we were advised my mother-in-law had just suffered a serious stroke. We emailed several hotels in Victoria advising them of our emergency and sought their assistance in obtaining a room on such short notice. The only hotel that responded was the Coast Victoria Harbourside Hotel. Trevor sent us a very nice response and advised they would be honored to offer us accommodations. When we arrived at the hotel the facility was impeccable in comfort, ambiance, location and amenities and located right on the water front. The staff was very gracious and hospitable, as well as helpful. The room was very very ample and appointed and the view of the harbor was second to none. You get all the amenities of a 5 Star hotel for the price of a 2 star. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to be pampered. We are making reservations to return to Victoria at this hotel to attend my mother-in-law's funeral.

The hotel is right next the water. Taking the scenic waterfront pathway, it is a short walk to downtown. The room we stayed in had a view of the residential neighorhoods and the snow capped Mount Olympus. The room was a standard room, very spacious. It has a queen bed (not the most comfortable bed though; it's just okay.) The hotel restaurant is great. We had breakfast there, sitting in front the huge picture windows. The view of the harbor was beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. We will definately stay there again.

Your personnel are helpful and friendly and the hotel is comfortable and we had a lovely view from our Juliet balcony. We enjoyed having our 49th Anniversary with you and the staff spoiled us with a great cake and some beautifully cut-up fruit in our room. We have just celebrated our 50th with family here in Nanaimo, but are treating ourselves to another night with you if you have room for us next week. Dorothy and John Howie.

We just had a girls weekend in the Harbourview Suite and were most impressed..Great view..2 bdrms (1king/lqueen) & double pull-out in a huge living room/dining room.3 bathrooms..Superb service with lots of special "extras" (ie chocolate covered strawberries for a birthday guest) Mints and bottled water delivered just in time for our movies and a late check out which was most appreciated!! All in all you made this most needed break extra special for my sisters, my nieces and my daughter...we'll be back for sure

Great location, extraordinary view. Close to inner harbor, marina, fishermans wharf. Best pool we've ever seen, indoors and outdoors all season. Restaurant is so-so, but there are so many around close by that this isn't a problem.

We stayed at the marina, very nice facilities enjoyed the pool hot tub ,showers. Enjoyed the view from the bar, as we had drinks
