Super 8 Lewisburg, Lewisburg

We've stayed here numerous times since the 80's and NEVER had any problems with accomodations or staff. We were last there in mid Spetember and everyone was great. Only suggestion we have is that they add cream cheese for their breakfast bagels.

As they say, everything is relative... I have probably stayed at every hotel in Lewisburg - including the General Lewis Inn and the Hampton Inn and I think the Super 8 is a good deal compared to those. I have stayed at Super 8 in Lewisburg, WV many times and I found no problem with the service or cleanliness. The location is great since it is right off of I-64 & plenty of places to eat & the Walmart is right across the road for those incidentals you may need. I always book a room on the 2nd floor because of previous experience at other hotels with the noise issue. I do think that at least a small decrease in the price of a room there is in order, but all in all, it is a good deal compared with the competition. If you want to pay about 20 bucks more, stay at the Hampton or for even more money the General Lewis Inn. The General Lewis Inn has a very interesting ambiance about it and in my opinion the finest food in town. Alas, now if I could only afford to stay at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs...

The price was 66.00! at a motel 8! you can stay at much better for less. They give a low rate Online like 28.00 but when you go to book the price was outrages! Also non ofthe hotels in Lewisburg can you bid on for a lower rate.

I think your cancellation rules are a bunch of crap, I called day before arrival date to cancel the last night that we were going to stay, but was told that I still had to pay full price for the second night. I only stayed one of the two nights and paid for 2 nights. I would not have minded a reasonable fee, but the full room amount is absolutley ridiculous. I will NEVER reserve a room or any other travel plans through Yahoo again. Tracy Silva
