Super 8 Long Beach, Long Beach

We come to this hotel about 4-5 times a year.. We love it. walking distance to everything.

My family and I rate Super 8 motel in Long Beach and A+ on the grade scale. We spent 3 nights. Bob and David at the front desk were helpful and courteous. The room we stayed in met our expectations, despite a broken refrigerator. I even had a coffee mishap in the lobby the last morning of our stay. I was apologetic, but David made light of the situation without making me feel like a heel. In spite of not having an ocean view, having a great, fresh continental breakfast to wake up to made up for it. Waffles, juice, muffins, eggs, toast, english muffins, cereal, oatmeal, coffee...who could ask for more? We have already decided to return to Super 8 next time we visit Long Beach.

Was in town on business, got a great rate and great service. Lots of free service such as internet access, breakfast,DVDs etc. Staff was great! Thanks!

Friendly caring staff, Cheryl the manager is super nice,she made an attempt to get to know us, rare these days. great breakfast, super clean rooms and great service. The bed was so comfortable I didnt want to go home! Give this one a try when in Long Beach, you wont ever go anywhere else!

Very dirty .staff didnt care at all what happended. bad customer service. Bad television, terrible view dirty sheets and room stunk. wish you could get good service somewhere!

The location is convenient and it is basically clean, but is very overpriced for the value. Most annoying, in the middle of winter, we found ourselves with NO HOT WATER to shower with the morning of our departure.

Our room was just average. We did have (2) beds and the Super Eight is right in the middle of all the tourist activities in Long Beach. We also had a view of the beach. We were on the 2nd floor and it was just as easy to use the stairs.

I checked into room 315 and found a toilet problem in the room. Thought it might have been the kids putting too much toilet paper in the bowl. Upon checking out, the lady behind the front desk guy, shouted out "is it room 315 again? Didn't anyone take a look at it yet?" Here's a quick run-down: overpriced, good location, just satisfactory staff, continental breakfast, carpet in the rooms are very dirty.

Front Desk staff was okay. Room had hair left behind in bathroom (dirty). Not a good view. Couldn't see ocean.
