GREAT 50's Art DEco Style Hotel
By KC, 09/18/09
Rooms were clean - staff all very accommodating - great location just steps to beautiful beach. Their is a restaurant of same name next door - which was a great place to have a few drinks - but skip the food. When I asked the waitress what kind of shrimp they were she replied "farm raised in Tawian" - not what you would expect from a seafood restaurant. Frenchy's just across the parking lot and other locations was by far superior for meals. Also Crabby Bills. Expensive but very good was Mandalay Grill. Horrible was Captains Pizza. This place is not the fanciest - simple basic - but clean & very nice - friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend it. My suggestion to the owners is to add some neon as the building seems to cry out for like on Miami beach.

LOVE IT! Perfect location!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/09
I love this place. You don't always get a view of the ocean in every room, but you walk outside and you are on the beach. The service is always great and accomodating to your needs. My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and came back the next year for our 1st anniversary/ "babymoon." The last day of our honeymoon was great thanks to this place. We sat outside during sunset and a live musician at the bar began playing our wedding song ("At Last") with guitar. It was so romantic. It was a great start to our great marriage. We are now going back this year with our two daughters (now 2 1/2 and 17 mths.) to share the experience. ...oh yeah the room are clean and so is the pool. I like the pool at night. Not much of a view, but nice after being at the beach. Fishing is nice at Pier 60, but if staying here you may just want to drive. It is a bit of walk with fishing gear in tow. Although, shops are really close. This hotel is in the perfect location! Jennifer South Carolina

Great Hotel! Great Service!
By Yep, 09/29/08
The Palm Pavillion is a great getaway hotel without the "breaking of the wallet" feel. This hotel is clean. Non Smoking Hotel!! Rooms smelled very fresh! The Staff was very attentive. I asked for a restaurant that would be open late and the front desk staff delivered to my room menus of different spots to eat. This hotel is perfectly located on the beach. There is 2 hotspots for the nightlife crowd. Not to noisy either. What a great experience. We will be back again!

Palm Pavillion
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/08
I do not know why this place doesnt have a picture on this site. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is RIGHT on the beach located next to Frenchy's Beach Restaurant. The palm has an outdoor restaurant of its own located right on the beach. They have nightly entertainment including some popular local bands. The rooms are very clean. Service is great!

Best place for atmosphere on the beach! Hotel Okay
By kidstocks, 07/13/07
The hotel is just so so...it's a place to rest your head and it's clean. The fact that it's on one of the best beaches in the U.S. makes it GREAT!! The restaurant/bar is excellent and entertainment is cool. Live bands and a great place to meet people. Been going there for a good 20 years. People are mostly age 30 and up. Highly recommend.

True Clearwater
By CHRISTOPHER K, 06/15/07
The Palm Pavillion has become a must for those who want to enjoy Clearwater Beach. It is still regonizable to the patrons and tourists since the early 60's. It offers coffe and doughnuts in the morning before a walk on the beach or a place to eat looking out at the gulf. The Palm Pavillion is family owned and a staff so outgoing you would think they are related. You will enjoy sand and water right out the door and a taste of Clearwater from locals who love it. The accomodations are perfect for care free days on and off the beach, or in the pool. The Palm Pavillion Restaurant has outstanding food while its floor is made of wood and covered in sand. Every afternoon a band plays in the corner of the pavillion. The afternoon sun has the people gathering both for beverages and to listen to the music. As a day at the beach segways into the evening - no plans are necessary for the atmoshpere is a perfect prelude for a walk on the beach.
