Could stay forever!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/12/09
This hotel is very over looked, but don't let the outside fool you!! Rooms are very unique, romantic, extremely clean & very comfortable!! Even the hallways are well done, not to mention the balconies, that over look the back bays!! Also within walking distance of Captain Jacks....best place to eat on the planet!! Spent the entire Labor Day weekend there & did NOT want to leave!! My hats off to the wonderful stall too!!

A Romantic Getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/2/08
My boyfriend took me to this hotel and it's absolutely romantic. It's across the street from the beach! We stayed in the Jucuzzi Suite room which had a balcony over looking the Harbour. Very peaceful! We took a short walk from the hotel to Captain Jacks restaurant, pricey but yummy! In the morning, when it was time to check out the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. This is one place I will always remember and can definitely recommend. And I highly recommend the Jacuzzi room...it's worth paying extra.

We'll come back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/1/07
The Harbor Inn is our choice to stay in Sunset Beach even though we could stay in a fancier place and pay a little more. The staff's very good, Greg's is excellent and provides a lot of help. The owners are great and very accomodating. The rooms are OK, with the remodelign I am confident they will be great too. A place we will go back to over and over again, it's a little piece of paradise. The breakfast is OK, you won't leave hungry, but nothing special. Then again, who comes to the beach to get breakfast in their hotel.

Quaint and comfortable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/29/06
Greg, the young guy at the desk, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. While the room itself was very clean and nice, the stay was really elevated by his great attitude.

We'll go back!
By Sheli, 4/24/06
This was a great stay for a family on a budget wanting to stay on the beach. They were very friendly and accomodating and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are very nice and clean and very affordable, plus they serve breakfast in the morning which saves a lot of money. It is a relaxed atmosphere, and just across PCH from the beach. They suggested the nicest places to eat nearby, and we found a beautiful little restaurant just a few blocks away called Pancho Frijoles, a family run mexican food restaurant that is very reasonable and has the most amazing food, everything homemade from scratch. We had a wonderful time and will definately go back again and again!

Dont go there
By Anne Sawyer, 12/27/05
This hotel is on PCH which is very loud and busy. The management staff got our reservations wrong twice and then proceeded to charge for missed nights 2 times due to there mistakes. They refused to acknowledge they had the reservation wrong. Dont trust this owner with any of your credit information. Oh and the beds sucked too.

Cant wait to go back
By Ash, 11/18/05
This place was a great find. The staff is so friendly and accommodating they were able to meet our every need. The rooms are big and have fantastic views of the harbor. To top it all off they have a delicious breakfast in the mornings, which saved us a lot of money in addition to the deal we got on the room. This place definitely made our trip to California worth while.

Economy Inn?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/11/05
The Harbour Inn has a nice location, but to get to the Beach you have to cross PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). The owners are very accomadating. The Breakfast in the morning in nice but plain, Cold Cereal, Toast, Danish, Bagels, Instant Oatmeal, Juice, Milk and Coffee. There is some definant room for personalization in that area. Although the rooms are clean--they could definately stand to be made over. The decorations in the room are sparse and very "plain jane" looking. The bedding as well as the entire room and vanity area could be spruced up to be made much more visually appealing. The rest room is cramped and the vanity area is out in the open in the room--no real privacy in getting ready. But in terms of economy and Value for your money--The Harbor Inn is a Great Choice.
