I actually used to enjoy coming here ( "The Bazaar" on the first floor of the hotel ) mostly for great food. Until thenight my purse was stolen from my table, by someone who was sitting next to us with his group of friends. The security camera was right above us. However, management refused to show me the tape, call the police asap and try to track this person down via the credit card that his table paid with. They were uncooperative and plainly uninterested in resolving this issue and in helping me getting my property back -- my phone with all my contacts, different ID's, some cash and the keys to my place. you can imagine of time and money I now have to spend to try and renew all those things, however most of the business contacts and information are forever lost. In 30-40 minutes after my property was stolen I was forced to raise my voice several times to try to get their attention, BEGGING them to call the police so the report can be made and show me the tape from the camera. Well, guess what? They did call cops, but on ME!! What????!!! Are you kidding me?! I'm the victim here, not the criminal!!! In all this time they could have already gotten this guys info from his or his friends payment info -- it was a table of 4 or 5 guys not just one guy, call the police, make the report and maybe help young girl who now has to break her door down or at least call a locksmith for me, I mean something, right? But, I keep forgetting that in the REAL world things are not so simple. So at the end I did get that yellow paper that's called a "police report" in which the following was written -- Suspect has taken the property and fled into unknown direction... I guess folks, that's all I will ever hear.. oh and I was told I was not allowed on premises anymore. I was what?? Outraged?! You damn right I was! Wouldn't you be? and I guess I should frame this yellow "glory paper" so it can remind me of the "Protect and to serve" bitter sweet sentence. Anyway, guys enjoy the food and hold on to your bags and your "rights" , but you have to be aware of the fact that the second thing that you're holding on to so tightly is only an illusion... Good location for shopping-near Beverly Center/Rodeo Drive. The drama started upon arrival....the front desk clerk was yelling at the man in front of me. Luckily someone else came and checked me in. There were plates of food along the hallway in front of several doors...including the room assigned to me. The hotel is very dark thoughout. The bulb lamp over the table was blown out so I could not get any work done. Took maintenance almost an hour to replace it. Overall, I didn't like the look (artwork) or layout of hotel (long walk from elevator to room). Front desk staff was below average. This place is definitely over-rated and not worth the money.

Being told to leave my home for 3 days while the building was being fumigatedd, i searched for a hotel in the neighborhood that would accomodate my cats. This one fit the bill. But that's about all it fit. From rudeness at the front desk it was downhill all the way. I believe management forgot the lesson about making people feel welcome, etc., etc., I'm not sure if this hotel knows what it wants to be; but one thing is for sure, it is not a warm, comfortable, welcome place to relax and gather ones thoughts. Maybe business travellers don't require that, but some people do.

If you have ever stayed with the Starwood chain before (Sheraton, Westin, etc) you come to expect certain things from your room. While it was spacious, there were subtle things such as the worn carpet, the leaky tub and the annoying flickering of the bathroom light that made the room about what you would expect from a Choice Hotel Chain not a luxury hotel. My room overlooked the alleyway so the shades were drawn over L.A. That being said - the staff was wonderful and the concierge desk was more than helpful with anything that we needed. Try Cafe Noir for drinks and appetizers you won't be disappointed.

Well, the hotel itself was very well maintained and comfortable. But, the valet staff and staff in the small cafe/bar area were rude to say the least. We were disappointed as most places we have stayed in the past we have not found this to be a problem.

The restaraunt has the absolute greatest coffee I ever tasted anywhere. The security is good, you need a key to access the elavators. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful, they even arranged our rental car. The room was spacious, high tech and clean, with a view of the 'Hollywood' sign. Highly recommended.

The location of this place was great because it was centrally located from my house and the place where my prom was held. The room was gorgeous and really made me feel very comfortable sleeping in it. In addition I saw a celebrity on each visit. Although, I wish the snacks had been complimentary due to the exhuberent pricing of the room and that housekeeping would have worked more expeditiously overall, my experiences were great.

There's a stated elegance that the hotel exudes from every room. The service is excellent, the amenities (Massages, etc.) leave you feeling like king and queen.

I love the place over all.i really enjoyed myself.i will be back soon.i will also tell all my friends about this place.the room were very clean and spacesious.
