Favorite hotel in Santa Fe
By Lili, 1/7/12
Great restaurant and convenient location. Owned by Native Americans and they have a flute player in the lobby bar often. We live in Santa Fe and eat there and have stayed as guests before. Intimate dining room.

Spacious, gracious, and luxurious
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/15/11
We stayed in the Hacienda section and were delighted. Our room was large, with two comfortable queen beds and a kiva gas fireplace, large TV, modern bathroom with oversize shower. We had the services of a "butler" during our stay, and had a generous continental breakfast each morning and tea/snacks each evening in a special lounge. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to the plaza and other nearby locations. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We also took advantage of some spa treatments and found the spa comfortable and the staff excellent. This is a one-of-a-kind restaurant with true charm (Native American art throughout, understated beauty) and a thoroughly gracious staff.

I would not stay here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/27/11
I expected what I paid for, a nice hotel within walking distance to the plaza. It was a 1.5 mile hike thru the worst part of town, I am not usually worried when walking home at 10:00PM in Santa Fe, but I was terriffied for myself and my wife. Homeless people almost all the way asking for change. The hotel had cramped rooms, the internet did not work, the food was horrible, the $10.00 margaritas at the hotel bar were aweful. The worst part were the dogs in the hallways barking all night and day while there owners took them thru the lobby and out for a walk. I even saw a dog go into the restaurant I could not believe it. I love dogs and these are not companion dogs these are pets. I have stayed in Santa Fe many times, and loved each hotel but this one is horrible dont waste your money.

Good Spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/24/10
My wife is an artist with works sold in Santa Fe at a local Canyon Road gallery. We loved this place, its great drinks, ambience, its being apart from but close to things. The comforts are excellent, good food, lovely grounds. Try it.

Charming and beautiful
By Tom, 2/18/10
We arrived shortly after it had snowed, so the hotel was blanketed in white. We found our suite to be roomy enough for our family of five even when the sofa sleeper was in use. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The building itself is charming and has a rustic flavor - and by that I do not mean run down - very in tune with Santa Fe. Frankly, when I travel I do NOT want to feel as if I am in a cookie cutter hotel, and this one has a lot of character. I especially enjoyed the stucco fireplace in the lobby. The beds were very comfortable and the plumbing was in great shape with almost instant hot water. Due to the cold and the snow, most of the exterior features were not available to us, although the outdoor hot tub was quite nice. The hotel was completely full while we were there, but parking was plentiful and the service outstanding. I cannot wait to return in the summer.

hospitality Santa Fe style
By Roxanne, 11/8/09
Although we arrived early and they were very busy, we were treated to true hospitality. Easy access to and from anywhere, walking distance from a multitude of shops and eateries. The staff made us feel so very welcome. Prepare for a fabulous vacation by checking out all this hotel has to offer.

THE only place I stay in Santa Fe
By ElsaA, 5/29/09
The first time I visited Santa Fe I was visiting for the day. When I saw the Hotel Santa Fe I knew that the next time I visited Santa Fe I would stay here! I have stayed at this hotel four times, the only time that I haven’t stayed here is because there were no rooms available. The hotel staff is always accommodating, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, the complementary fresh brewed morning coffee most appreciated and hearing Ronald Roybal perform (live) in the hotel’s comfortable lobby, Native American flute and classical guitar selections, a special treat. This is the only place I stay when visiting Santa Fe.

Overall, a very nice stay. . .
By Downtown Diner, 7/11/08
I had researched hotel in Santa Fe online and ended up choosing the Hotel Santa Fe. I have no regrets and would happily stay at the hotel again. The location was good (easy walking distance to the Plaza), but I was intrigued by some of the great looking hotels I saw right on the Plaza. I booked one of the larger "two room" suites, but it was still rather cramped and the AC seemed loud at night. Still, it was comfortable, clean and offered a nice view of the restaurant patio. Service was good, the restaurant was nice (although breakfasts were a little pricey for simple food). Again, all things considered, it was a great stay.

Wonderful hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/23/08
The hotel itself was beautiful- we stayed in a room with a luxurious bathroom, balcony and huge, comfortable bed. They really know how to pamper the guests- from thick terrycloth robes, slippers, and chocolates on the bed every night! I felt like it was a luxurious hotel and would recommend it (especially room 503!) Also, we could walk to town or use the hotel provided driver service. ERChim

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Santa Fe.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/4/08
We will defininitely return to the Hotel Santa Fe. We loved the cozy, relaxing, friendly atmosphere. The hotel is well-maintained and the shuttle was very handy for going to the Plaza. The Amayo restaurant has outstanding food and the Concierge Table was our guide to shops, restaurants and activities throughout the area. Hats off to the creators of the "books". The service was excellent throughout our stay.
