Residence Inn Atlanta Airport NorthVirginia Avenue, Hapeville

My family and I stayed here because our house burned down . While we was here the rooms was never cleaned, the stuff was racist and ruled. Some of the staff made sexual comments tolds other residence that stay there including myself. When i went to front desk to talk to the general manager he was uncaring and made excuse for his staff but what was hurtful of all my mother called from Brazil she dont speak very good english and when they asked her the residence name and she didnt understand the customer service told her she could not connect her and hung the phone up in her face and when i came to front desk to ask why she laughed about it and told me that the general manager was not there and she didnt know when he would come back and gave me the wrong number to the customer care to report issue. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE poor service, poor customer care, poor management, and over all ruled and uncaring!!!! WE SATYED 69 DAYS AND it was hell on earth thank GOD OUR INSURANCE COMPANY FINALLY FOUND MY FAMILY SOME WHERE ELSE TO STAY

Stayed here for a quick 36 hour business trip. Pros: *Staff friendly *Free parking *Close to airport *Free shuttle service (but I rented a car) *Free internet wired in rooms (hotel engineer said they were changing to wi-fi) *Free wi-fi in lobby *Great A/C unit! Did not luck up when I put it lower. Some hotels have that problem *New applicances in kitchen! *Great layout of room. If I had a studio apt, I would love it to be like that. *Excellent Buffet Breakfast - besides waffles; yogurt; oatmeal; bagels. They had eggs; Canadian Bacon Muffin w/cheese breakfast sandwiches; FRESH fruit cup; Parfait cup (like at McD's); sausage patties and cute little gourment looking muffins. *Bathroom had large counter tops *Carpet felt clean *Bed ever so comfortable *Flat screen tv *Very modern furniture Cons: *I had an internet problem were I could not connect. They sent and engineer over to fix it, but I had to call an hour after placing a call to remind them I was waiting (this is why I did not give 5 stars). However, he was helpful and after changing modem had me trouble shoot with higher person. *Not wi-fi, but they said next stage was for them to change. Since it was wired the cord didn't go far so it was only okay to use at desk and only one person could use it. *Wished breakfast was open later. Hours were from 6:30-9:30am.

This hotel and employees are very rude and racist. They will harrass the black patrons until they leave or will call the police for nothing on you. I am a professional and do not like to be treated like trash...DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL svae your money it cost to much to be harrassed

first off when i first walked in the room it smelled like years worth of mildew,then when i walked in the bathroom i then understood why this suppose to be quality hotel smelt like that.... there was actuallty human waste in the tub! so that let me know how well they clean the rooms between guest.then i went down to the office to speak to the manager about the situation and he (hosea) had the nerves to be very disrespectful to me and my grandmother. i dont know if this residence inn is independently owned or not but i will never stay in nothing ran by marriot. this was my first and last time.oh yeah, and when i asked for the corporate number, the manager (hosea) said they dont have a corporate number.

The staff is friendly, and they will fix anything that needs repair, but the hotel is so poorly manages that my room had so many deficiencies I finally checked out early. Not to mention most of the guests are displaces hurricane victims with nothing to do all day and night but stand in the parking lot and talk, I questioned the safety to the GM who told me they are very friendly with the local PD, I wasn't surprised.

Micki I loved my stay here. I stayed because I was in town for the Dessert Expo. I needed to pre-bake samples for an audience. Having a full kitchen was awesome. The staff was wonderful and when I called to ask where various stores were located, they were more than happy to give me information. Thank you to Sheena, Maxine, Shaunda, Judy, and Wauneta. This staff is top notch and what ever Marriott is paying them, it’s not enough! There was also a young man working at the desk (sorry didn’t get his name) who was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. When I asked for extra towels, Wauneta was very quick in getting them to me. The hotel is conveniently located close to the highway, airport, and the International Conventional Centre. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a home away from home. At a glance this looks like a really nice place to stay. However once we opened the door to the room it was NOT what we bargained for. The room was very drafty and the weekend we stayed here (Nov 30-Dec 3) we froze even with the heat turned on. The bathroom was in need of some maintenance work. The lighting was poor through out the room. Some of the molding was loose in the kitchen by the cabinets. We requested in our reservation for a "crib" for the room for our infant. There was no crib in our room upon arrival so we checked with the front desk and she paged for a crib to be brought to our room. AFTER AN HOUR OF WAITING MY HUSBAND WENT TO THE FRONT DESK TO FIND OUT WHERE THE CRIB WAS AT AND HAD TO BRING IT TO OUR ROOM HIMSELF! My husband and I have both worked in hotels before and this service would not be tolerated by management if it was any other hotel. The only good part of the stay was the breakfast. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone wanting to stay long term.
