I wouldn't recommend this marriot to my DOG!!!!

first off when i first walked in the room it smelled like years worth of mildew,then when i walked in the bathroom i then understood why this suppose to be quality hotel smelt like that.... there was actuallty human waste in the tub! so that let me know how well they clean the rooms between guest.then i went down to the office to speak to the manager about the situation and he (hosea) had the nerves to be very disrespectful to me and my grandmother. i dont know if this residence inn is independently owned or not but i will never stay in nothing ran by marriot. this was my first and last time.oh yeah, and when i asked for the corporate number, the manager (hosea) said they dont have a corporate number.
 
 
 
 
 
Don't Bother

The staff is friendly, and they will fix anything that needs repair, but the hotel is so poorly manages that my room had so many deficiencies I finally checked out early. Not to mention most of the guests are displaces hurricane victims with nothing to do all day and night but stand in the parking lot and talk, I questioned the safety to the GM who told me they are very friendly with the local PD, I wasn't surprised.
 
 
 
 
 
Outstanding Service!!!!

Micki I loved my stay here. I stayed because I was in town for the Dessert Expo. I needed to pre-bake samples for an audience. Having a full kitchen was awesome. The staff was wonderful and when I called to ask where various stores were located, they were more than happy to give me information. Thank you to Sheena, Maxine, Shaunda, Judy, and Wauneta. This staff is top notch and what ever Marriott is paying them, it’s not enough! There was also a young man working at the desk (sorry didn’t get his name) who was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. When I asked for extra towels, Wauneta was very quick in getting them to me. The hotel is conveniently located close to the highway, airport, and the International Conventional Centre. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a home away from home. will not stay again

At a glance this looks like a really nice place to stay. However once we opened the door to the room it was NOT what we bargained for. The room was very drafty and the weekend we stayed here (Nov 30-Dec 3) we froze even with the heat turned on. The bathroom was in need of some maintenance work. The lighting was poor through out the room. Some of the molding was loose in the kitchen by the cabinets. We requested in our reservation for a "crib" for the room for our infant. There was no crib in our room upon arrival so we checked with the front desk and she paged for a crib to be brought to our room. AFTER AN HOUR OF WAITING MY HUSBAND WENT TO THE FRONT DESK TO FIND OUT WHERE THE CRIB WAS AT AND HAD TO BRING IT TO OUR ROOM HIMSELF! My husband and I have both worked in hotels before and this service would not be tolerated by management if it was any other hotel. The only good part of the stay was the breakfast. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone wanting to stay long term.

The Best Home Away From Home
