Motel 6 Buffalo Airport, Williamsville

The reviews I read for this Hotel are absurd. These folks writing them must expect the 4 Seasons. It's a Motel 6! It's a clean, quiet place to stay for small money. This location has a pool though I've never used it. In fact they are in the middle of renovations so ask for a newly done room. Stop worrying and save money.

I will never go back there again it was terrible.We checked in to our room ,and found a bag of garbage behind a chair.The bed had crumbs and human hair in it.We then changed to a different room.It was not very clean,our bed was only changed once,we always had to ask for towels.They never cleaned the bathroom,there was hair on the floor.The rug was dirty,we wear our shoes all the time.The shower curtains had stains on them,they should be thrown out.There was stains on the walls,dirty chair. The place was just disgusting.I will never go there again and tell everyone not to go there.

we were catching a flight out of Buffalo in the morning and needed someplace to stay for the night. we booked the room cause it was cheap and close to the airport. wow! were we amazed when we got to our room. we ended up with a king/non-smoking room on the 3rd floor and this place was palatial compared to some "budget-friendly" places i've stayed before. there was (of course) the king bed, a desk and rolling chair (great if you need to work), a separate chair for lounging, the armoire (with tv and drawer space) and still plenty of space for luggage without feeling crowded. the bathroom was larger than expected as well. they advertised wi-fi, but we never used it. the only downsides were the somewhat typical areas other hotels/motels have also started cutting back on to try to save money: no continental breakfast, only coffee. only soap in the bathroom, no shampoo or lotion (and i don't think our room had facial tissues either). there was also no clock in the room. but if you can live without those few "frills" it's an incredible value! there were also several restaurants just down the road: Tim Hortons, Dunkin Donuts, Cracker Barrel, Friendly's (all within 1/2 mile).

My girlfriend and me checked in for a non smoking king size bedroom. When we came to the room, the room was still occupied by a guest. So we went down and asked for another room. This room then was dirty. The floor was not vacuumed and the bed was made with the old linen from the guest before. We´ve found fingernails and hair on the carpet and in the bed. Though we have asked for a non smoking room there was an ashtray with butts and ashes on the table. So we went down to the reception and asked for another room. And it came even worse. The room that we ´ve got then was in outside room. The outside hallway to the room was covered with 1 foot of snow, nobody shovelled the snow of the way. So we had to drag the baggage through the snow and when we opened the door to the room a big load of snow fell right onto the carpet into the room. That was not acceptable. Then we`ve got a 2 double bed bedroom inside. The room was okay so far. But there was no hot water available. So we`ve had to change the room one more time. And this room was surprisingly clean then. The housekeeping and service at the desk was lazy like hell. They ignored us and preferred talking private stuff than doing their job. This motel is also advertised with free wireless internet, but actually they charge you 2,99.-$ a day. There is no airport shuttle. I can´ t recommend this Motel 6 and will never come back again.

Warm and friendly support staff. A pleasure to stay in a clean room close to the airport and attractions. Room had no cosmetic problems in the sleeping area nor in the bathroom. Remodeling is ongoing, but no problems. The manager was even cleaning. I would stay there again.
