Not Bad. Good Price.

We stayed here for the weekend to go to Blue Bayou, and this hotel is close to the park. The thing I liked at this hotel was the living room was separated from the bedroom. Nice pool. There is a gas station next to the hotel, so it is convenient to get snacks. Breakfast was great considering it was complimentary. They had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and more food to choose from. Most hotel's complimentary breakfast consist of cereal and maybe a debby cake, if you're lucky. Free beer and wine in the afternoons. This hotel wasn't bad, I'll probably end up staying here again.

i wouldn't stay here again

the carpet was stained. door jam was rusty and dirty. a/c didn't work. staff was rude. the room was bad. telephone was broken. there were roaches in the bathroom. the bathroom floor was dirty. there were bed bugs in the bed. i wouldn't stay here again.

Great Price.... Great Breakfast!!!!!!

Great location, price and a FREE breakfast you have to see to believe. Great happy hour too... Staff was very friendly, rooms could us an update.... but for the price and location you can't beat it!! Right by the Mall of Louisiana and Blue Bayou Water Park!!!!! With the ecomony today you can't go anywhere else and get free breakfast, free beer and wine, and a nice place to sleep for under a $100. I definately will stay again.

very old & musty smelling

to be perfectly honest there was nothing to like regarding this hotel. very old & musty smelling in the room, the remotes did not work for the television sets, in the bedroom or the living area. definitely needs to be extreme revamping. quality suite it is not,"unqualified suite" it is. the rooms are out-dated & old from bedding to furnishing. would not recommend , way over priced. the location is great its just a shame they have let this hotel be so redown. there are better hotels to stay in baton rouge for the price we paid.

We stayed here about 4 yrs ago and it was just the best place ever! The rooms are very nice. They have very friendly service. They have an AWESOME breakfast too!

Couldn't wait to get out!

There was nothing about this place that I liked. At $109/night it was a rip. It smelled like a swamp, the room was beat up - furniture, carpet. The sliding glass door lock didn't work and the door didn't close all the way. I slept w/ my gun under my pillow. I could hear every truck and car that passed on I-10. Couldn't wait for the night to pass. There were no other rooms in Baton Rouge or I would have left.

Nice stay

The rooms are not as large as other suites, but we had enough room for 5 people. The free breakfast was great and everyone we encountered who worked for the hotel was extremely nice and helpful when needed. The pool is a nice size (boys loved it) and the courtyard is very pretty. Location is excellent!!! Close to water park, eating establisments, mall, and movie theater. The only complaint I have is that the rooms do need to be updated and the maids need to clean a little better. For the $$ this was an excellent value.

Low Quality Suites

Between the burned out light bulb, missing fire alarm with wires hanging loose from the ceiling, gum on the painting on the wall, door that would not lock properly, internet service that did not work, I just would not know where to start. I am really not one to complain but it was pretty bad. When I went to the front desk to tell them my door did not work properly, I got the response that someone was at lunch and they would have to wait until they came back to look at it. The response I was given when my internet in the room did not work was here is a number to call. When I checked out I could not get a reciept? Customer service was a concept not yet heard of at the Quality Suites.

Enjoyed our stay, will return

I liked the Quality Suites. It was in a good location for us. The room was more than adequate for three of us, adults. We appreciated the Happy Hour every day and the breakfast was just fine. The pool is nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The main bedroom was large, and my son said the sleeper sofa was fine. You have a great view of the pool. If you want the Ritz, stay at the Ritz. As for the mold smell, that is all over the state of Louisana. I lived there for four years, and were Canadians, it is something you have to get use too. I for one will stay there again, anytime, The service was quite good. They served us very well. NO COMPLAINTS!
