Comfort INN Welland Niagara, Welland

This hotel is what you would expect for a comfort inn that is in a old town. The hotel looks rather old and is not the cleanest hotel. I liked the breakfast the offered. Overall not a bad place to stay!

Room was confortable and clean, housekeeping on a couple of the days was lacking. The continental breakfast was very limited, bagles, toast, cereal & juice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

i came on the weekend during the summer. For the amount I paid, i was unsatisifed with the room. The room we stayed in was a 2 bedroom and the airconditioning failed to operate, I was stuck in the room with so much heat during the middle of the summer. I am most definetly not coming back as i was not pleased with my stay. The front desk was unable to switch my room

I spent a couple days in the Niagara Falls (Canada side) area with a friend in July '06, and we spent two nights at the Comfort Inn in Welland. We were lucky because I had accumulated enough points in the Choice Privileges program to earn two free nights here. This Comfort Inn was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical self-serve breakfast that had cereal, bagels, bread to toast, and other things. Overall, the hotel was clean and nice-looking. Only two complaints...there is no elevator, and the breakfast room was really crowded. They need a bigger space for breakfast. There were way too many people crowded in a small room to get their breakfast. The lobby does have a computer that anyone can use to surf the Web, but the connection was very slow. But still...it was nice that I was able to check my email. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from downtown Niagara Falls, so it's not in the most convenient location. But it's worth it for anyone who travels on a tight budget. I'd consider staying here again. :-)

Decent hotel offering a nice breakfast (a rare find in Niagara). Other hotels (such as a Best Western we stayed at later in the same week charged on average $65 Canadian for a similar buffet offered here. Definitely worth the drive from the Falls, and Niagara Helicopter Rides, Butterfly Conservatory, and Whirlpool is within 2 miles of hotel.

A very good hotel, very friendly staff. If you prefer a quiet place, close enough to the action but far enough to have a nice sleep.

Stayed in feb 06 what a great serviced hotel the whole staff is just great from the time our family checked in untill the time we checked out just the great service the rooms was cleaned every day, great breafast,and this hotel dont charge for the wireless internet service and my wife was working out in fitness room everyday we suggest this hotel to everybody.
