Ask Questions First!

This Ramada Inn was a good location since
it overlooked Lake Erie. The air conditioner
did not work and this was the first of August. Now, the staff was aware of it
before they even put a guest in that room!
They in turn gave me $20 off the room for
one night. I was paying cash, but they still
swiped my debit/master card and said that
they would not charge my card. Little did
I know even after paying the bill that the amount would stay on my card for 48 hours.
well, it stayed on longer than 48 hours!!
This is my money and Ramada Inn did not release it till I had to call 3 times and the
surly accountant DONNA, said it was not their
problem but my banks!! All she had to do
was fax my bank 1 sentence that the funds
were released back into my account. She was
provided the fax number, but did not comply,
and expected my bank to call her. My bank did call, and my bank in turn asked me what was the location of that hotel since she would NEVER go there!! Donna said she would
get to it, well, she did not get to the matter till later than day and this was now way beyond the 48 hour time limit. I left a message on the Managers voice mail stating
my dissatifaction, so not sure if this speeded up progress or not. So, in a nutshell, ask questions and make sure that everything works in your room!
