Hotel Duas Torres, San BARTOLOMé de Tirajana

I reckoned that I'd splash out and pay more for accommodation, so was kind of expecting 4star Irish standard. Have to say was extremely disappointed, very convoluted pathway to the rooms from the lift. The transport left us at an entrance with a sign stating "sandy beach" but with no indication where the main entrance was to be found. It turned out to be on the other side, up a long series of steps. The bathroom windows open into a corridoor and sometimes on the way back to our rooms we could smell the stench coming from bathrooms along the way. The location was perhaps the only saving grace as it is very central and only about 5 mins from the Yumbo centre. For the price we paid we would have done better settling for a basic apartment block. Needless to say I won't be rushing back.
