Just stayed 4 nights. I don't think a hotel could be more clean inside and out. Several people were cleaning the lobby one morning, lifting furniture to make sure all was clean. Even the outside chairs and tables were spotless. The bed was firm and the sheets fit well. There were other bargains around but we decided to stay here for our entire stay because of the cleanliness and nice room. Our room was in the back where street noise was a minimum. ---close to everything!
 
 
 
 
 
not much comfort in our stay

Our room was not ready at check-in and when it was finally ready it had not been vacuumed. The bathtub was so dirty I had to clean it myself before using it and had to request towels as there were none in the room. The private balcony was nice but it overlooked a dry dirt field - not much of a view - and it too was dirty. The rooms are in serious need of updating and the lighting is exceptionally dim. The complimentary wireless internet access was the best part of this stay. The Clarion just up the road a few miles is a far better value for your money and still close to the new events center.

Lies, Lies, Lies!

This is not a destination hotel. The name itself is all lies. I called for a balcony over river or parking lot. No River exists even though my reservation was taken after I called landline and asked for somone on site info. THey lied, When check-in, they again lied! So sorry, Is all I got for explanation! Mountain River Suites is a LIE! no mountain or river exists! Mountain = a red dead dirt field River = a dry drainage ditch I was furious and all I go was I am sorry, new employees. That did not help my vacation at all! But, the Smokies are good as a Destination, just do not believe the lies told by personnel on site.

Lots of room. Clean and convenient to area attractions. Nice breakfast including, cook your own waffles. They need better lighting in the bed area though. Good value.

Bring a light

You can't beat the price of this suite (it's a true suite). It was very clean. We had no problems with the very nice people at the desk. However, the only place bright enough to read was the bathroom! Also, there were no pictures on the walls-- not at all "homey." If you want to be near everything in Pigeon Forge, this is not the place. It was a 20 min. drive to Dollywood w/o traffic. We were told it would be 45 min. w/ lots of traffic.

Enjoyable visit

This Comfort Inn was one of the nicer ones that we have stayed in. The check-in person was very nice and knowledgeable. The continental breakfast was above and beyond the usual!! Thanks for the great stay. We would visit again if we were in the area. Cathy and Doug Knight
